She saw Arwan, he was opening the door for a girl, a girl hugged him and sat in the car. Ayliz was shocked, she didn't want to believe what she was watching. Minhu and Zayan exchanged a look, they were unaware what happened to Ayliz and why Hana felt pity for her and sad for her friend.

Zayan followed the gaze of Ayliz and Hana. Then he looked at Hana, who was looking outside. Just then, Ayliz turned to Hana and said, "Ha...Hana, I wanna talk to him, maybe it's just a misunderstanding." Her voice shuttered.

Hana said, "Yeah, maybe." Minhu followed that car, Hana said to Minhu. Zayan started the car and followed.

Ayliz's heart was racing, she couldn't believe what she was seeing. Arwan, the guy she had been crushing on, was with another girl. She felt like she had been punched in the gut.

Hana tried to comfort Ayliz, but she was in shock. Minhu was following the car, trying to keep up. Zayan was driving, his eyes fixed on the road ahead.

The tension in the car was palpable, no one knew what to say or do. Ayliz was trying to process what she had just seen, her mind racing with thoughts and emotions.

As Ayliz stepped into the cozy cafe, her eyes locked onto Arwan, who was seated at a table with a girl she didn't recognize. Her heart skipped a beat as he looked up and caught her gaze. A faint smile played on his lips as he said, "Hey girl, sorry I didn't remember, could you introduce?"

Ayliz's voice trembled as she replied, "M...me Ayliz." The sound of her own name felt foreign on her lips.

Arwan's eyes widened in surprise, and he rose from his seat, his movements fluid and confident. "You, you Ayliz, how are you, see you in a long time," he said, his words dripping with a familiarity that made her skin crawl.

Ayliz forced a smile, her pain and anger simmering just below the surface. "Alhamdulillah, I am fine, and you," she replied, her voice laced with a sweetness she didn't feel.

Arwan gestured to the empty chairs at his table. "Me too, have a seat, you both." But Ayliz's eyes never left his face.

"I wanna talk to you alone," she said, her voice low.

Arwan's eyes flickered to the girl beside him, and for a moment, Ayliz thought she saw a glimmer of guilt. But it was quickly replaced by a nonchalance mask. "Okay," he said, rising from his seat. "Let's talk."

As they moved to a quieter table, Ayliz's heart pounded in her chest. She felt like she was walking into a nightmare, one that she couldn't wake up from. "Did you remember your promise?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Arwan's expression turned blank, and he said, "Which promise, Ayliz?"

The words cut through her like a knife, and Ayliz felt her tears prick at the corners of her eyes. "Who is she?" she asked, her voice cracking.

Arwan's smile was casual, dismissive. "Her, my crush."

Ayliz's eyes filled with tears. She said, "You forgot your promise. You said you would ask me to marry you after graduation."

Arwan shrugged. "Ayliz, we were kids when we made that promise. We didn't know what we were talking about."

Ayliz felt a sharp pain in her heart. She had believed in Arwan's promise and held onto it for so long. Now, he was telling her it didn't matter.

"But we weren't that little," Ayliz said, her voice shaking with emotion.

Arwan sighed. "But we weren't mature enough," he said, his tone firm but gentle. "We didn't know what love or commitment meant back then."
