"Mr. Park is playing with us, isn't he? Studying at a rehabilitation center?"
Hendery repeatedly expressed his frustration to Seonghwa about why he and his six other friends, including Yunho and Jongho, were asked to study at a rehabilitation center.
Jongho was busy reading the building map while occasionally responding to his friend's grumbling with nods, while Yunho chose to put his phone away in his bag and look around.
"Excuse me, we are from Capital Vivid Secondary School," Jongho said to a receptionist.
"Alright, Mr. Park has arranged it. Please follow me."
The receptionist led them through several doors until they reached one that was tightly closed.
"Inside is Mr. Song. He is participating in a drinking cessation program. You can speak with him." After inviting the students in, the receptionist returned to her desk to receive other guests.
Inside the room, the students took seats facing a man in a blue shirt with his back to the entrance. Jongho sighed before sitting down with Yunho, facing a patient who was none other than Mingi. He was surprised to see his younger siblings but quickly masked his surprise with an awkward smile.
"Alright, Mr. Song. We'll begin. Who is at home with you?" Jiwoo asked.
"Just me and my two younger siblings. Our parents are gone. Our father died, and our mother cheated," Mingi explained, without showing nervousness.
"How did your mother leave? Was it before you started drinking, or after?" Hangyul asked.
"Before. I started drinking after she left. I never imagined this habit would erase the person I used to be. It's as if I don't know who Song Mingi really is."
