Nameless Problems

You had defeated The One Who Waits, The Chained One, Narinder, about a week and a half ago. Currently the once God was adjusting to Cult life and it was a...rough transition, to say the least. He still didn't quite listen to you nor do as told or even help out. But things weren't going to stay this way and you were going to make sure of that. He was spouting some rude nonsense about you and how he hated you and that he wouldn't conform to your ways anytime soon. You had long tuned him out. A small tap on your shoulder brought you back to the world and you looked at the golden retriever standing nervously next to you. "Uh- excuse me, sorry-" He glanced at Narinder, whose ears are flattened but is silent nonetheless. "My Lamb?"

He fiddled with his paws some, tail low. "We seem to be low on food..do you think you could bring back some more?" Perking your ears up you give Titan a warm smile and a nod. "Of course, I can head out now!" Narinder let out a low growl as his tail lashed. "Hey! I'm not done talking to-" You simply turned away and motioned for Titan to follow you. "Is there anything else I need to bring back?" He mumbles to himself as he thinks, then shakes his head with a small thankful smile. "No, I think food is all we need. Thank you, Lamb." Standing at the gateway to the main exit you turn and glance around at your cult, your followers had steadily grown over the course of years. You weren't that small, naive little lamb anymore, no. You were far from it.

That being said, you still made your mistakes.

Leaving your cult you walk over the stone teleporter and into the wilderness. Only a few moments passed by before you were where you needed to be, thankfully you could just buy seeds from the trader who put up shop heeerree- holy you who the hell was that?

In the middle gate between the bishops lands, a floating cloaked being with what you could only describe as an abyss for a head and several eyes with no face was in front of it. They made no attempt to stop you or move towards you, they simply watched you. Two beings stood behind them with their eyes closed. Maybe this wasn't your problem. Hopefully.

Looking to your right there was the spider, Helob, stood staring at that being with another poor soul trapped in his web. They seemed nervous and uneasy. Walking to them you furrow your brows and follow their gaze to that strange being. "Hey, Helob! So uh...who's that?" They glance at you before back to that abyss, arms in front of them as they fiddle with their hands. "I don't like them..." They return their gaze back to you and narrow their eyes. "No like round head. Price doubles until they're gone." Furrowing your eyebrows you let out a soft sigh, you couldn't exactly argue as you probably would do the same in his situation. "Yeah, alright, here." Handing them the gold you look to the poor soul they caught, a white cat with brown markings. Their expression was akin to anger and even resentment, but not entirely towards you.

You open the portal and send them to your cult, turning to head to the mantis shrimp on the left side. You had the sinking feeling Rakshasa may also have rose his prices. The mantis shrimp has his arms crossed and glared at you when you approach him. "If I had known this place was dangerous, I wouldn't have come in the first place. Until you he leaves-" Holding your hand up you politely interrupt him. "I get it, I get it. Look, I'll work on it but first I need seeds." Once you saw his prices your heart sank. You bought what you could, pocketed it, and then immediately approached the strange being. They looked down to you with an expression you couldn't read. You were cautious as you stood before them. "Lamb, do you not heed the dangers I've warned?"

You keep your arms at your sides as you think for a moment. Then it hit you, you've seen this being before. The last thing they said was, 'Pray we don't meet again." You could only imagine what happened this time. "Look, can we make this quick? I got a cult to feed and I understand that you're..upset or angry, or whatever it is, but some of my followers are idiots." The being narrowed their eyes in silence for a moment, before leaning down some and continuing to speak. "The bishops you've slew now rest in the lands between, they do not rest. Fix this and I'll make it worth your while. All I require is a name." Now you were even more confused. "A..name? For what? Your guys back there? One of my followers-"
