Celeste's POV
I was sipping my coffee, lost in my thoughts while Hazel was talking to someone from her company on the phone. We were in the Sullivan mansion. Firstly, I didn't want to come when Hazel invited me here, but she assured me that Joshua wouldn't be home; so I accepted when she insisted.
"Celeste?" Hazel called me in a low voice, interrupting my thoughts, covering the bottom of her phone with her hand.
"Yes?"
"Could you bring me a file? It must be in my brother's room. The room in the end of the hallway on the second floor. It is the file about the project with Dad. Blue one. There is written "Willson&Sillivan Group' on it," Hazel whispered while listening to her employee on the phone.
"Joshua's room?" I mumbled uneasily.
"Please, it is important." She gave me a begging look. I nodded, sighing, and went to the Devil's den.
Once I reached his room, I took a deep breath, trying to calm down and grabbed the doorknob. I didn't know why, but I suddenly felt nervous.
Calm down, Celleste! He isn't here.
Just go inside, find the file and leave quickly.
After taking a deep breath, I opened the door and walked into Joshua's room.
The bedroom was spacious and decorated tastefully. The main colors were black and white. The room really suited to his character.
I looked around, searching for the file. As I noticed a few files on the bedside table, I walked towards it.
When I leaned to grab the file, I spotted his childhood photo. I smile, amused as I took the frame and looked at it. He was smiling cheekily, showing his dimples.
"You are only cute when you smile," I commented cockily and rolled my eyes, smiling.
I put the frame on the bedside table and searched for the file Hazel wanted. Suddenly, the door opened and Joshua walked into the room, looking surprised.
"What the hell are you doing here?" he barked angrily as he noticed that the file was open. Probably, the jerk thought I was snooping around.
"I...," I mumbled in panic as he approached me in a second, looking furious. "Hazel wanted me to bring her the project file," I explained him while his sandalwood scent filled my nostrils.
"Don't lie? What are you looking for?" he asked suspiciously as he grabbed my arm.
"Let go of me, idiot. I have already explained," I stated, annoyed and tried to push him, but I lost my balance and we fell onto the bed.
I bit my lower lip nervously while my heart was beating faster. There were a few inches between our lips.
I struggled, trying to push him away from me, but it was futile. He grabbed my wrists and held them above my head tightly, sandwiching me between his body and the mattress.
"What are you doing in my bedroom, Pinocchio?" he asked huskily, his gaze dark.
"Looking for the file Hazel wanted. How many times should I repeat? Let go off me now!" I replied, irritated.
"If I don't. What will you do then?" he asked devilishly.
"I will scream. What will Hazel do to you if she sees us like this? What do you think?" I said smugly.
"You won't, Pinocchio." He smirked arrogantly.
"Try me." I gave him a threatening look.
As he chuckled without releasing me, I tried to scream, but he quickly smashed his lips against my lips, muffling me.
After trying to resist this temptation for a while, I responded to his demanding kiss. He took courage from it and plunged his tongue into my mouth, deepening the kiss. Our tongues were dancing in burning desire.
Only this man can kiss me like this, making me think just him, no one else, making everything else disappear.
I moaned into his mouth without managing to hold myself as he pressed his bulge against me stomach. He deepened the kiss, kissing me feverishly.
A few minutes later, he suddenly pulled back like he got burned. I looked at him, dumbfounded while I was breathing heavily, still lying under him on the bed.
Joshua quickly stood up and ran his hand through his hair without looking at me. He cleared his throat and looked at me with an unreadable expression on his face. I sat up on the bed, dazed and bit my lower lip shyly.
"If I see you in my room again, I will finish what I have started," he warned me dangerously and stormed out without letting me say anything.
"Asshole!" I exclaimed under my breath and ruffled me hair, gritting my teeth. I was angry at myself. Why did I respond to his kiss? He would think that I couldn't resist his charm like his conquests.
"Here you go," I told Hazel as I gave her the file she wanted.
"I thought you were lost. Thank you." She smiled in amusement and took the file.
"I couldn't find it," I lied, ruffling my hair.
"Are you okay? Your cheeks are red. Do you have a fever?" Hazel asked, concerned.
I placed my hands on my cheeks reflectively. "No, I am fine," I mumbled uneasily and bit my lower lip nervously. "Umm... I am thirsty. I am going to the kitchen. Do you want something to drink?"
"No, thanks." I nodded and went to the kitchen without stopping myself thinking about my devil husband and his skilful lips on me.
When I walked into the kitchen, there was no one here. I poured myself a glass of water, lost in my thoughts.
I frowned as Joshua entered the kitchen, his hands in his pockets. He didn't say anything, ignoring me, and sat down on the chair.
I gritted my teeth in irritation and took a few sips from my water. This jerk acted like it wasn't him who kissed me a few minutes ago.
"Can I have a glass of water?" he asked nonchalantly, breaking the silence. "Please," he added when I wanted to tell him that I wasn't his maid.
I heaved a loud sigh, placing my glass on the counter top, and grabbed another glass to pour him some water.
"Here you go," I mumbled as I put the glass of water on the table in front of him.
A devilish smirk appeared on his face as he noticed the diamond ring, which he had given me, on my ring finger.
"You didn't take off the ring," he commented, pleased.
"It doesn't mean I am happy to wear it. It is stuck," I stated, annoyed.
"Sure," he said mockingly, smirking.I clenched my fist angrily, giving him a dirty look. "I don't lie. If you don't believe me, then take off the ring yourself," I told my annoying husband and extended my hand towards him.
Joshua grabbed my hand and pulled me into his lap in quick movement, catching me off guard.
"Hey! What are you doing?!" I exclaimed in annoyance, struggling while he wrapped his arms around my waist, holding me tightly.
"Hugging my wife," he replied cockily.
"I am not your wife," I objected in irritation.
"You are," he stated arrogantly as he pointed to my ring.
I sighed, rolling my eyes and said calmly. "Let go off me."
"No." He shook his head, smirking self-satisfied.
"Joshua!" I warned him angrily.
"Celeste!" he exclaimed, giving me a teasing smirk.
I breathed deeply, trying to calm down. "Fine, let's sit like this till someone sees us. Can you act this arrogant when your parents or Hazel see us like this? How will you explain what is going on here?" I commented wickedly.
"I will tell them that you try to seduce me," he said smugly and shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly, still holding me in his arms firmly.
"What?! Are you crazy? I don't try to seduce you," I stated in frustration.
"Oh really? I beg to differ." He flashed me a haughty smirk and pressed me against his bulge, biting his lower lip seductively.
I averted my gaze shyly and commented, irritated. "It isn't my fault that you get hard every time you see me."
Joshua chuckled heartily. "What can I do when my wife try to seduce me every time she sees me? I am a healthy man," he said provocatively and ran his nose along my neck, sending shivers down my spine while still pressing me against his bulge.
"I don't try to seduce you," I declared, frustrated, emphasizing each word.
"I beg to differ, wifey. Firstly, you tried to seduce me in my sister's room, purposely letting your towel slide down, giving me full view of your flawless body. Then today you tried to seduce me in my room. I don't believe you were there just for some file," he whispered in my ear in a flirtatious tone.
"Joshua!" I exclaimed between gritted teeth and tried to stand up, but he didn't let me, tightening his grip around my waist.
