She wakes up the next morning with Paul's arms still around her. She still sees his boots are still on. She wonders why, but doesn't question it. She figured that he may have forgotten to, but it wasn't her business. While wrapped in Paul's arms, she falls asleep again. This time, until after 12. Paul never let go of her, and she's feeling hungry. The boys never left any leftovers, so she doesn't know what to do.

"Hey, can you let go of me? I'm feeling hungry," She whispers to him.

"Can't you stay a little longer?" He groans.

"I wish, but I'm starving. You guys didn't leave any food last night," She smiles as she turns herself to face him.

"Yeah, I guess you're right. Take my bike, it'll be faster," He says as he digs in his pockets to hand her the key.

"Are you sure?" She questions looking at him, confused.

"Yes, just take it, you'll be fine," He says with a smile.

"Okay, see you in a bit," She smiles back at him.

Once she gets outside, she puts her dark sunglasses on. She finds his bike, and she starts it, thinking she can't, but she manages to. She's happy she started it. Now she rips out towards the Boardwalk, hoping that Lucy wasn't at the video store again. She feels free on the bike. It's something she can't and would not find any way to describe.

She gets to the place, looking for something to eat. She finds a diner that's a little bit farther on the Boardwalk than she walked on it so far. She's fine with it. She sees Micheal, Sam, and Lucy there. "Ah shit!" she thinks.

Walking out, she hears her name. "Fuck!" She slowly turns around and Lucy signals her to go over to their table. She slowly walks over there.

"What happened to you last night? Lucy asks.

"So, long story, I went with these guys, one of them was my brother," She frowns at Micheal.

"Why did you have to go with them?" Lucy asks being protective.

"I found my brother the same night I get to Santa Carla, and there's always a bunch of people here. It was shocking I found him here sooner than I thought," She shrugs. "I told Mikey to let you know I was in safe hands when he got home."

"Yes, he did tell me that," Lucy looks down. "Well sit down, we haven't ordered yet, you should just stay."

"Yeah, sure, I'm starving," She smiles at her.

Now that Delilah is starting to feel comfortable here like she's been here longer than just one night, she feels happy. She doesn't know if it's because Paul has been so generous to her, or that she finally found her brother. She doesn't know what's having this effect on her, but she's just happy to be here. She couldn't believe that Paul let her take his bike.

A waitress finally comes over, "Hello, I'm Denise, I will be taking your orders. What would you lot like?"

They all order, and after the waitress leaves, Lucy asks Delilah what her first night in Santa Carla was like. "Fuck, what should I say to her?" she wonders.

"Yeah, it was cool. I'm glad I found my brother within the first 24 hours of being here. It was really easy, honestly. I met some cool guys," she doesn't mention that one of them cuddled with her all night. Nor does she want to, especially with Micheal right there. Or what happened between him and her.

"That's nice," Lucy says.

"Yeah, it sounds like you had a good time, I guess," Micheal chimes in.

"You must be happy you found your brother, eh?" Sam asks her.

"Yes, I am. I never knew how easy it would have been," Delilah said laughing.

They get their food, and Delilah offers to pay for them after they eat since she has quite a bit of money, and wouldn't mind paying.

"No, no, I got it," Lucy says.

"No, I insist," Delilah says sternly. "I promise it'll be okay if I pay for it."

"You don't have to," Lucy says looking at her.

"Yes, I do. It's the very minimal I can do after I ditched you last night," She says sympathetically.

"Okay, only if you want to though," Lucy says shrugging.

It was left at that, Delilah paid, and nothing else was said. They went walking out together, but Delilah figured she should get back to the Cave. "Well, it was nice seeing you's, I gotta go."

She walked off somewhere else, hoping no one was going to follow her. Especially Micheal or Lucy. She knew that Sam wouldn't.

"Hey, Delilah, wait up!" Micheal called.

"Micheal, I have nothing to say to you, I don't know why you're chasing me like what you did with Star!" She argues back.

"Hey, don't go there!"

"Then don't follow me!" She has her fist clenched, still walking.

"I don't know why you did what you did last night, but you're going in the wrong direction. I made the same mistake two nights ago!" He says.

"So, what? That was my choice, I don't know why you're so butt hurt about it!" She yells.

"You just met the guys, and you did that!" He yells back.

"My brother is Marko, and I trust him."

"Why would you trust a vampire? Huh? Why would you trust one, Delilah?"

"It's none of your business, Micheal. Now leave me alone."

Micheal spins her around, but before Delilah can think, she punches him right in the face. She knew Paul and Marko would have been laughing at her for doing that. She knew David and Dwayne would be proud. Who knew Micheal had such a pushy side?

She beats him down into the sand, not thinking about what she is doing, By the time she realizes this, she knows it is too late. He is bleeding from his nose and mouth, and now he has a black eye. "Fuck, fuck, fuck!" Delilah thinks. She runs off to Paul's bike and drives back to the Cave.

She keeps looking back behind her thinking Lucy may be behind her on her son's bike. Or even if Micheal got enough strength to catch up to her. Thankfully, neither of those were true. She was glad. By the time she gets back to the Cave, she's having a panic attack. She never knew what came over her, or why he wasn't defending himself and just taking it. After awhile she recomposes herself, and goes down. Her eyes red from crying.

They all notice, and go rushing towards her. "Guys, I'm fine, I just want to lay down," She says, voice cracking a bit from crying.

"No, we aren't letting you lay down until you tell us what happened," Paul says.

"I agree with Paul," Marko says.

"Same here," the rest chime in.

"Well.. I went to a diner, Micheal, and his little family were there, his mom invited me to sit down. I did. After, I was going a different way to Paul's bike, Micheal followed me, we argued. I kept trying to walk away, he grabbed my wrist, I punched him, and kept beating him up. He had a bleeding nose, his mouth was bleeding, I also gave him a black eye," she says tears in her eyes. She's glad no one noticed yet.

"Holy fuck, that's tough," Marko says.

"That's my girl," Paul smirks.

"Damn, Delilah, who knew you had it in you to fight a guy." David says.

Star is laughing at the story, "Wow, that's a good one, hope he won't be too mad at you."

Dwayne is also smirking at what happened.

Paul put his arm around her, "This is why no one should mess with my girl!" Paul notices that Delilah isn't saying anything.. "Hey, what's wrong?"

"Nothing, I just, I don't know why I did it, or what came over me," she replies. "I mean, yeah, I have a lot of anger built up inside me, but I never intended on using it on a friend."

"Hey, it's okay, come here," Paul says. They all realize that Paul has a soft spot for Delilah.
