"SIERRA! ITS BEEN SO LONG!" a girl with blonde hair walks out of the dorm building holding three door to let us in. her and sierra both hug before they turn to us. "this is ellie, millie and kailey. guys this is my cousin megan" we exchange our hellos before she welcomes us into the building. we carry our bags to the elevator and go up to the sixth floor, walk down a hallway and reach her door. she pulls out her keycard and swipes it to let us in. the setup of her suite was very cute. a blue beachy theme in the common room with two couches, a tv, a coffee table and a desk. we walk in a little further and see a normal kitchen setup with a microwave, air fryer and a few more utilities.
"okay, only one of my roommates is here, her name is sasha but she's in class right now. my other roommates casey and april are home due to the excessive amount of partying this weekend. they don't really like to go out so this worked out great!" she goes down the hallway pointing out the rooms opening the door to one of them. "do you guys have a sleeping arrangement planned or is it a go with the flow type of thing?" "um not really, i think kailey and millie will share a room and then ellie and i?" sierra asks and we all agree. "you two can take casey's room" she nods at kailey and i. we quickly put our bags down in the room, we would be sharing a twin xl bed which i had no problem with, i did it many times when i was student. megan also pointed out the bathroom at the end of the hall.
once we all settle in we re group in the living room. "have you guys been to any college parties? i just don't know how what sort of heads up to give you" megan asks. "i've only been to the one last fall when i came up here but millie is the only one who went to college so she probably has maybe?" sierra turns to me "you went to college? where at?" "BU medical school" "oh smarty pants, i can't image there's many parties on the medical side of campus?" she laughs
"no, but general campus had a lot of parties so i was at sigma chi and delta tau delta every weekend that i wasn't studying." "well you'll be happy to know we'll be hitting up sigma chi tonight" "yeah what's our plan tonight?" sierra asks. "well what time is it now? four thirty? there's a few dartys that are still going on, if we leave now we can get to one and we can bop around to a few houses as the night goes on? kappa alpha, sigma chi and alpha tau omega are the three houses sasha and i usually stick to. but, the occasional party from kappa alpha phi is always good so we can go there tomorrow night?" "that sounds good, should we start getting ready?" ellie asks we all take off to megan's room where she provides us each with a drink to pregame as we get ready.
i had no clue what i was going to wear, sierras onto instructions were to "bring some slutty tops" which lucky for me i had plenty. the weather wasn't too bad here this weekend, high sixties low seventies, definitely a change from boston weather. ellie asked if there were any known themes, so that we could pack to roesler for the frats, sierra got back to her and said a party tomorrow night was a beanie and bikini theme so i had packed for that. but as of right now i assumed we wouldn't dress to theme considering we will be going around to a few different houses tonight.
