The directors were good at selecting because though the reveal of Seokyung being Seol's twin is revealed in S3 there are subtle hints like the sweaters they wore and the bangs that matched Suryeon's 😆😆

Suryeon was at the gallery  adivising a client about purchasing a particular a piece of hers  when she had gotten a call from the school precisely Mr. Ma (Cheon Seo Jim's lackey ) stating Min Seol Ah and Joo Seokyung had an altercation which seemed very unusual given neither had argued in the past months and much more that Min Seol Ah had actually started the ' fight ' was even bizarre more for Suryeon .

If that wasn't enough, neither girl had spoken a word the entire trip back home. She knew something was up and was going to get to the bottom of it.

"Everyone saw it! Min Seol Ah slapped me in front of everyone ! Why am I being the one interrogated " Seokyung screamed . They were in the office trying to understand  what exactly happened.

Honestly Dan Tae was in no mood for teenage girl drama especially with how loud Seokyung could be he was getting a headache from her tantrums.  Sometimes he wondered if it would have been better if he swapped his dead daughter with Min Seol Ah instead of Seokyung.

He was working on a important deal but Shim Suryeon had to nag him into ' parenting ' .

"Seokyung. " Suryeon mustered all the patience to deal with her younger  daughter's outburst.  "Min Seol Ah wouldn't just slap you out of the blue. " Her eyes hardened , "I'm asking you for the last time . Did you provoke her ?"

"Of course you would believe her." Seokyung scoffed folding her arms , "is it because she's your biological daughter and I'm just your stepdaughter? Is that it huh? Your blood connection matters more than my word."

Suryeon let out a bitter laugh that surprised Seokyung and Dan Tae. "You think because I share blood with Seol-Ah that it's the reason I'm not complying with trusting you Seokyung? It's not that. It's far from that."

"Then what is it if not that?" Seokyung challenged her mother.

"You once framed Seol-Ah for stealing just so you could purposely land her in trouble with your father  . You , Seokhoon  and  your friends kidnapped Min Seol Ah and then left her to  burn in a car ! "

Suryeon snapped. That detail was one thing she still couldn't forgot. If Min Seol Ah didn't survive the fall then she could have died in that car and worse the twins didn't express remorse nor the little heras  .

"Do  you honestly think I can believe you didn't do something to hurt her  after what you did to her  a few months ago?

"Not too long ago , your P.E teacher came right here to tell me how you and Seokhoon ganged up on a fellow student and beat him up with your friends Your credibility right now isn't very helpful Joo Seokyung! All these things make it seem you..no you're capable of  anything to destroy someone especially if you don't like them .  "

The younger Joo twin flinched,  surprised to see this side of her mother but yet again a part of Seokyung always felt this was coming ever since Min Seol Ah moved in with them. The topic was like a ticking time bomb waiting to happen .

Their mother had told her and Seokhoon to forget what happened and move on but clearly her mother still had a grudge against her for endangering her ' precious daughter'.

Hearing her mother not trusting her was more painful than the beatings her father inflicted on her and Seokhoon. Seokyung's fingers balled into a fist as she willed herself not to cry.

"Honey calm down."

Suryeon recoiled away from Dan Tae's touch not letting him touch her. She focused her sole attention to  Seokyung , "I'm asking you again.  Why did Min Seol Ah slap you."
