Someone new

I was in the yard with Skye playing tag. It was still morning so we were still pretty energetic. "You won't catch me!" "Oh that is what you think Skye!" I shouted while running behind her. Despite her small size she runs pretty fast! I kept on chasing her and finally caught her. "Tag you are it now!" "Oh boy not again!" she said while we laughed but something odd made me to stop. I saw another pup coming towards our lookout. "Hey Skye timeout i have to check something." "Oh okay Chase i will wait". I went down the road and saw him. It was a dalmatian looking down the road. It seems he couldn't understand his surroundings. "Hey you what are you doing here?!" I shouted at him because he was heading to the lookout. "Oh h-hey sorry i didn't mean to cause trouble. Name's Marshall. I was just walking around the city as always but no-one seemed to care about me." another stray. I think that Ryder can do something about this. "Name's Chase. You can come with me i think i can do something for you." "Oh r-realy? Thanks a lot!" he said as he jumped but fell down while trying to land on his legs "Heh happens often!" he said as he laughed.
"Skye meet Marshall. I saw him near the lookout. I think Ryder can do something for him." "Nice to meet you Marshall!" "Nice to meet you too!" as we were having our conversation something loud was heard from the lookout and the three of us turned quickly to see what happened. We headed into the lookout and saw a small fire that Ryder accidentally happened to make. "Oh no what do i do?!" i saw Marshall was near a bucket. "Marshall take the bucket and i will fill it up with water for you, go extinguish that fire!" "Eh, oh, all right!" he seemed nervous but his moves were fast "Skye help me to open up sink so the water can circulate through the hose!" "On it!" while we were doing this the fire started to spread a bit but fortunately we finished just in time. "Marshall now!" i shouted at him and he through all the water on the fire. Everything was alright after this and we cheered together. "Great job pups!" Ryder said as he petted us all. "And who are you new one?" "My n-name is M-marshal." "No need to be nervous you saved me there. All of you three. Thank you." "No need Ryder sir! Be more careful next time or we will have to extinguish another fire too!" I said and we all laughed together.
Night fell and Marshall was still here as we learned some things about him. It seems he is pretty clumsy and nervous sometimes but he is a great guy. It's a shame he is a stray though and probably can't live here. "Pups come inside!" "Ryder is calling us. We should head in. Come Marshall!" "You sure Skye? I mean i am a stranger to you guys." "No need to worry Marshall. Ryder is a good person." I said to him. We went in and Ryder had something in his hand. "Pups i have an announcement to make. After everything that happened this morning i think it is a great opportunity to have another one join us. Marshall would you like to be that member?" The three of us were happy about it and mostly Marshal, you could see that just from his waggling tail! Ryder gave him a yellow collar and now he was a part of us. "Oh Ryder thank you! Finally i have a home! Thank you too guys especially you Chase for having me in! Now i have friends too!" "No need Marshall. You are a part of us now too!" I said.

We celebrated the coming of our new friend. I mean it is great to have another male pup here. Not that Skye is not enough, she is more enough and will never be replaced by anyone ever but you know what i mean. Everything is better and better as time passes.
