The lunch hour at the office cafeteria was usually a lively affair, but today it felt a bit different for Park Jimin.

Instead of his usual lunch with Jungkook in the privacy of his office, he is here today seated with Eunji, his friend, and a few other colleagues.

"So, Jimin" Eunji began with a mischievous grin
"where's your Alpha today?
Late for lunch, huh?"

Jimin blushed at the mention of Jungkook. "Um, yeah he got held up with a meeting. Should be here soon"

One of their colleagues, Seojin leaned in teasingly. "He's probably writing you love letters or something, making sure you eat properly"

"Yeah" another colleague, Jihyo chimed in "I wish I had someone like Jungkook doting on me all the time."

Jimin fidgeted nervously, playing with his food. "He's not that much" he mumbled, cheeks turning a deeper shade of pink. But his words are not true Jungkook is really too much.

Eunji nudged him playfully. "Come on, Jimin. We all know how he looks at you. It's like you're the only person in the world to him"

The others nodded in agreement, their expressions a mix of admiration and envy.

"You're so lucky, Jimin" jihyo sighed wistfully.

"Having a pure breed Dominant Alpha like Jeon Jungkook completely wrapped around your finger"

Jimin laughed nervously, his fingers twisting around each other. "He's just... caring in his own way" he mumbled trying to downplay Jungkook's intense affection.

Seojin leaned closer, his voice lowering conspiratorially. "We've all seen how he is with everyone else-ruthless and cold. But with you, it's like he's a different person"

"He looks like he will devour you anytime or anywhere he wants"

"That's because he's love sick for Jimin" Eunji teased, earning a giggle from the group.

Jimin's cheeks felt like they were on fire but he couldn't help but smile at the truth in their words. "He's... he's just...love me" he managed to say, his heart fluttering at the thought of his alpha.

"Btw Jimin" Eunji said with a smile, "we're having a team dinner tomorrow night at Han's Bistro. You should come with us!"

Jimin hesitated for a moment
"I don't know... I don't want to go without Jungkook and he never really attends these kinds of dinners"

Seojin nodded in agreement. "Yeah, he's the CEO after all. He's probably got more important things to do than join us at a casual dinner"

Jihyo chimed in expression slightly teasing "Besides, can you imagine the CEO of our company at a simple team dinner? It would be... surreal"

Jimin chuckled softly, but he couldn't deny "I suppose you're right"
