In the opulent world of Rome's elite, Angel Ambrioso is a vision of perfection-beautiful, kind, and untouchable. With a powerful family, an adoring boyfriend, and the envy of her peers, she seems to have it all. But beneath her flawl...

The next day after school, Angel's nerves were on edge. Vitto had asked her to come over, mentioning something about a surprise. Her thoughts were jumbled, a mix of dread and guilt gnawing at her. After getting ready, she found herself walking to his house, the familiar route now feeling strangely foreign.
When she arrived, Vitto greeted her with a wide grin, holding out a bouquet of delicate white lilies. "For you, bella."
Angel's heart clenched. He was trying so hard, and it made what she had to do that much worse. "They're beautiful, Vitto. Thank you," she said, forcing a smile as she took the flowers.
"I've got something special planned for us today," he said, his excitement almost contagious. "Trust me, you're going to love it."
She nodded, her mind elsewhere as she followed him to his car. The drive was quiet, filled with the kind of comfortable silence they had always shared. But today, it felt heavy, almost suffocating. As the cityscape faded into the distance, replaced by the serene, winding roads leading to the coast, Angel tried to steady her racing heart.
They arrived at a secluded spot by the sea, a small, abandoned cove that was untouched by tourists. The sky was a canvas of oranges and pinks, the setting sun casting a warm glow over everything. It was the perfect romantic getaway, the kind that usually made Angel's heart flutter with excitement. But today, it only deepened her sense of foreboding.
"Wow, this place is incredible," she said, genuinely admiring the view.
"I knew you'd love it," Vitto replied, his smile broadening. "It's just us here, no one else. I wanted to take you somewhere where we could just... be."
They walked along the shoreline, their feet sinking into the cool, wet sand. Vitto suggested they go for a swim, and with no swimsuits on hand, they decided to strip down to their underwear. The water was cool, refreshing against their skin as they waded in.
Vitto, playful as ever, splashed water at her, laughing as she shrieked in surprise. Angel retaliated, splashing him back, their laughter echoing across the empty cove. He caught her around the waist, pulling her close, his hands warm on her damp skin. Their laughter faded as their lips met, a soft, lingering kiss that made Angel's heart ache. She knew she had to tell him the truth, that she couldn't keep living this lie.
As their kisses deepened, Vitto's hands roamed over her body, igniting a familiar spark. He lifted her out of the water, carrying her effortlessly to the wooden planks they had set up earlier. He laid her down gently, his eyes dark with desire as he hovered over her. But before things could go any further, Angel placed a hand on his chest, stopping him.
