Vaggie was 6 years old when her parents told her she was going to be a big sister, the joy and happiness she felt.. "What are we gonna name her?" Vaggie asked. "her name will be Nala" Her father said... "I'm gonna protect her and teach her ALL I know!" Vaggie added, she was sitting on her bed holding a book in her hands. Her mom was about to walk out the room before she stopped and added "Don't forget, you gotta be a BIG example to her", Vaggie smiled and nodded agreeing with her mom, she waved to her parents as they walked out the room. She tested her book on the counter and imagined what her sister would be like...
4 months later, Sept 15
Everyone was in the hospital, Vaggie was waiting in the waiting room waiting patiently while tapping her fingers on her knees, her eyes darting around seeing nurses and doctors walking around. "I hope mom is okay" she thought. A nurse came over informing her that she could go in the room, as she walking in she saw her baby sister in her father's arms and her mom smiling at her. Vaggie smiled and walked over to her father while zipping down her sweater and looking up. "Meet your sister" her father said while handing Vaggie the baby. She was overcome with joy as she looked at her sister already having plans for the future.
*6 years later*
Vaggie was in her room reading her favorite book feeling relaxed. The door opens slightly and I run in "SIS! SIS!" I yelled cheerfully. Vaggie frowned slightly feeling upset she was disturbed but turned to look at me "yea? what is it hermana?" she asked. I smiled and sat on the end of her bed "Mom said we're going to the park!" I said cheerfully. Vaggie sighed but slightly happy "really? let me guess.. you're going on the swing?" she asked. I nod quickly "Yup! and I'm gonna FLY!!" I say raising my hands up. Mom comes in the room getting ready to leave "ready girls?" we both nod and I run out off. when we reach the park I sprint off to the swings waiting for Vaggie to push me.
*another 6 years later*
It was Monday (School day ToT), I WAS gonna wake up Vaggie BUT yesterday she did make me mad SOOOo.. I stand up and replace ALL her school clothes with Halloween dresses. I make my way out of the house and walk to school without Vaggie. (2 hrs later) I stand in the hallway next to my locker taking out books for the next class until I hear an "Ahem!" behind the locker. I close it and look to see my Sister looking at him in an angry way, "hey sis!" I say. Vaggie looks at me without a word, I laugh and told her I was pranking her. "That's NOT funny hermana!" she said still not finding it funny, but before I could say anything my books were knocked out of my hands. I turn to see who did that and as I turned I see Alicia and her friends, they were all bullies and NOBODY liked them only the suck ups. Vaggie IMMEDIATELY defends me "HEY! how DARE you do that?!" Alicia turned around to look at her "I can do ANYTHING I want." She said ACTING like she owned the school, Vaggie picked up her water bottle and dumped it on her dress to get it wet. Alicia screamed and ran off, I laugh and look at my sister "thanks Vags" I said. She smiled at me but was still angry I made her late for class, as we walked to our classes we both said our goodbyes and headed inside.
After school
- We met again and took a walk around the park for a little "SISTER TIME", as we walked it looked like something was on Vaggie's mind. Since she's my sister I HAVE to know what's wrong, "what's wrong?" I asked. She looked at me and at the ground "I just have.. SOMETHING important to tell mom and dad.. that's all" she said. I look at her confused "well,.. what DO you need to tell them?" she looked at me unsure of what to say before sighing. "Well, it's about me..." She said looking slightly nervous. Now this was just annoying the HELL outta me since she wasn't telling me her problems "well, what ABOUT you?" I ask slightly irritated, Vaggie sighed then revealed it to me "well, I-I.. *sigh* I'm Lesbian". I IMMEDIATELY stop walking with my eyes widen as I stare at her "w-what did you just say?" she looked away feeling unsure to repeat herself, "I'm Lesbian" she sighed. I look even MORE shocked now that she confirmed it "s- so, that means you l-like GIRLS?" I asked unsure of how to react. She nods and looks down "y-yea... I DO", I was speechless and unsure of how to react all I could say was "oh..my GOD".. As I take a moment to process this my eyes start glittering and I start squealing excitedly. Vaggie looked at me as if I was INSANE "Y-your happy?" she asked in surprise. I nod quickly and tackle her in a tight hug "OMG YESS!! I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE WHO YOU ARE AND TRUE TO YOURSELF!" Vaggie smiled and hugged me back "thanks sis.." she said gratefully. I nod as a 'your welcome' and I break the hug, we continued walking home and were discussing how she should tell our parents.
When we reach home
- We placed our bags on our hanger, it was a good thing we had no homework so we could tell mom and dad. As we called them into the living to sit on the couch I sat between them so we could ALL hear Vaggie talk. As she revealed it to them they started in shock and speechless, 'Oh YES! THEY'LL BE SO HAPPY!!!' I screamed in my mind.
I ran to hug Vaggie with a HUGE smile, "this is SO amazing! I'm so glad you told us!" I said, Vaggie smiled at me and hugged me back "I'm glad ya'll think so.. I'm SO glad that-" Before she could finish her sentence dad stood up and yelled "YOU'RE A LESBIAN!? WHAT THE HELL!?" he yelled angrily. We both flinched and looked at him in surprise at his sudden outburst, "D-Dad, what-" I INSTANTLY interupted by mom "HOW COULD YOU VAGGIE!? YOU'RE GOING TO HELL!" she yelled. Now I would ALWAYS be a little troublemaker towards Vaggie since we were sister but for Mom and Dad to Yell at her for being herself well,..that's just WRONG! NO ONE! and I mean NO ONE makes MY sister feel bad! NOT EVEN OUR GODDAMN FAMILY! "HEY! SHE'S BEING HERSELF! ISN'T THAT WHAT YOU TAUGHT US!? TO BE TRUE TO OURSELVES!? THAT'S WHAT VAGGIE IS DOING!! AND IF YOU GUYS HAVE A PROBLEM THEN... YOU'RE NOT FIT TO BE PARENTS!!!!!!!!!" I screamed at them top of my lungs. Dad was EXTREMELY angrily and slapped me in my face "HOW DARE YOU TALK TO US LIKE THAT!? YOU LITTLE SHIT!!!" He yelled. I fall to the floor and stand back up, mom crossed her arms and said in a stern and serious tone "Go to your room...NOW". I stare at them in absolute SHOCK from where they were coming from before I yell "I HATE THIS FAMILY!! I WISH YOU TWO WERE DEAD!!!!" before running to Me and Vaggie's room and slammed the door. Vaggie follows behind me and takes a deep breath not really excepting our parents to react like that. "It's NOT fair!" I yelled, Vaggie looks at me understanding what I meant before sighing "I know hermana.. But it's okay.. One day it'll ALL be over" she said calmly. I sigh "I hope so.." I walk to her bed and we cuddle up to sleep.
