Chapter 15: Deal With The Devil

Izuku looked upon his class specifically as Kirishima and Tetsutetsu were holding back an infuriated Bakugou from charging any further towards the stage and lashing out at him.

"YOU FUCKIN BASTARD!!! I'LL GET YOU BACK FOR THAT GUT PUNCH!!!"

Speaking formally Izuku pointed out "It was a kidney punch actually."

This caused Bakugou to growl like a dog and tried even harder to get out of the grasp of the two hardening users who were holding him back, but they were obviously struggling by how much they were shaking.

The dyed black haired teen sweat dropped a little before glanced to Kyoka and Momo who waved at him with warm smiles, smiling himself he returned the gesture before Aizawa shouted at the blonde loudmouth of his class.

"Bakugou shut up and sit down before I call your mother!"

The dirty blonde glared at his teacher before he growled one last time in Izuku's direction, the blonde reluctantly returned to his seat much to Kirishima and Tetsutetsu's relief, the two manly bros taking the moment to give Izuku a thumbs up before also going back to their places.

Nezu seeing that the crowd had calmed themselves to the best of their ability spoke into the microphone "Alright, now that the big reveal has been revealed, why don't you all ask questions to our resident vigilante."

Immediately the entirety of the student body raised their hands, some raising both and waving to try and get called on.

Izuku absentmindedly noted that his entire class along with 1-B raised their hands furiously, some going as far so to lift the shorter of their class to get his attention which worked to a degree.

Izuku rolled his eyes playfully and he analyzed the crowd, picking on the one who he believed would ask him an easy question "Yes, Yahiko-chan?"

The glasses wearing girl blushed upon hearing the chan suffix and the students around her looking at the quirkless girl in confusion on their relationship, they wondered why the quirkless girl was addressed in such a way by the now infamous Batman of 1-A.

Composing herself from all of the attention on herself Yahiko asked her question with the best of her abilities "W-why did you become the Batman? There has to be more than just being asked by Nezu, so why did you become a vigilante of all things for the exam?"

"That's a great question." Admitted Izuku, his eyes portraying his contemplation of how to answer.

He paused for a brief moment to collect his thoughts and answered the bespectacled girl the best he could "Not many know this, but I was misdiagnosed quirkless when I was four years old."

The audience went silent in surprise of this revelation, Izuku's class friends included, but no one was brave enough to interrupt so they all let Izuku continue speaking.

"-I only awakened my quirk the day of the entrance exams, that was the first time I ever used it, and I've worked extremely hard to be a hero like my idol All Might. But in doing so I lost the reason why I originally wanted to be a hero so badly." Said Izuku with a thoughtful look as he mentally reminisced over the past.

Many reactions spread through the room, from shock and disbelief, to genuine curiosity. But once again they didn't ask their questions until Izuku was finished.

"It originally occurred to me that I had lost my path back 6 to 7 months ago when we had our class on the quirkless, it irritated me to see just how wrong all the answers to the questions were, and I should know the answers since I was literally quirkless until just a few months prior to that."

He paused once again, this time a sad frown plastered his face as he dipped his head downward a few centimeters. Not very visible unless who were paying attention, and since all attention was on him, everyone noticed.
