The Enchanted Forest. Past.

The Enchanted Forest was alive with the whispers of ancient trees and the rustling of leaves, the air thick with the scent of pine and earth. The sun dipped low in the sky, casting a golden glow over the land, as if nature itself mourned the loss that had befallen it. Through this tranquil yet somber landscape, Prince Charming rode, his steed's hooves striking the ground with a steady rhythm, echoing the determined beat of his heart.

As he ventured deeper into the forest, the towering trees parted like a curtain, revealing a clearing bathed in soft, ethereal light. There, at the center, lay Snow White, her beauty untouched by the cruel hand of death. Encased in a glass coffin, she appeared almost as if she were merely asleep, her face serene, framed by raven-black hair. Surrounding her, the Seven Dwarves stood solemnly, their faces etched with grief and reverence. They guarded their beloved friend in silent vigil, their postures heavy with sorrow and the weight of an unfathomable loss. The Prince halted his horse, his breath catching in his throat at the sight before him. It was as if time itself had slowed, every detail etched in his memory with aching clarity—the delicate fall of Snow White's eyelashes, the stillness of her chest, the faint shimmer of tears in the Dwarves' eyes. A single thought consumed him, driving him to dismount and approach the coffin: the love he bore for the woman who lay within, and the hope that flickered in his heart, defying the despair that threatened to consume him.

Doc's voice was heavy with regret, eyes downcast as he stood before the Prince, knowing the words he was about to utter would bring unimaginable pain. "You're too late." The world seemed to tilt on its axis as those words hit the prince, his heart clenching painfully in his chest. His voice trembled with desperation, refusing to accept the finality of what Doc had said. "No. No! Open it."

Grumpy stepped forward, his usual gruff exterior softened by grief. The harsh truth weighed on him as he met the Prince's eyes. "I'm sorry, she's gone."

The Prince's gaze shifted to Snow White's still form in the glass coffin. The thought of never seeing her smile again, never hearing her voice, was too much to bear. His voice cracked with emotion, pleading for just one final moment. "At least let me say goodbye." The Dwarves, their hearts heavy with sorrow, nodded solemnly. With careful hands, they lifted the lid of the glass coffin. The air was thick with tension, the silence broken only by the soft sound of the lid being set aside. Prince Charming leaned down, his eyes never leaving Snow White's peaceful face. With all the love and longing that filled his soul, he pressed his lips to hers in a gentle kiss.

In that instant, the world seemed to hold its breath. A burst of magic erupted, shimmering light swirling around them, filling the clearing with a radiant glow. The Dwarves gasped in astonishment, their sorrow transforming into stunned disbelief as Snow White's chest rose with a sudden breath, her eyes fluttering open. Snow White blinked, disoriented, her hand coming up to touch the Prince's cheek as if to reassure herself that he was truly there. Her voice was soft, filled with wonder. "You... you found me."

Relief and joy washed over Charming, a smile breaking through the tears that had gathered in his eyes. He gently cupped her face, his voice steady and full of the love that had guided him through every trial. "Did you ever doubt I would?"
