"Cherry Blossoms"
---
When Y/N moved to Japan, she was eager to start a new chapter in her life. Everything about Tokyo felt magical-the bustling streets, the vibrant culture, and the beautiful cherry blossoms that lined the streets. She quickly settled into her new high school, making friends and embracing the excitement of living in a new country.
But nothing could have prepared her for Ren.
Ren was the kind of boy everyone noticed. Tall, with striking black hair and deep brown eyes, he was effortlessly charismatic. His quiet demeanor only added to his mysterious allure, making him the subject of many whispered conversations among the girls at school. Y/N had heard about him before she even met him, but she never expected him to notice her.
That all changed one spring afternoon.
Y/N was sitting under a cherry blossom tree during lunch, enjoying the peacefulness of the moment, when Ren appeared seemingly out of nowhere. He approached her with a soft smile, his presence commanding attention despite his calm demeanor.
"Mind if I join you?" he asked, his voice smooth and melodic.
Surprised but flattered, Y/N nodded. "Sure, I don't mind."
As they sat together, Ren's attention was entirely focused on her. He asked her about her life in Japan, her interests, and her dreams for the future. His questions were thoughtful, making Y/N feel as if he genuinely cared about her answers.
"You're different from the others," Ren said after a while, his gaze intense as he looked at her. "There's something special about you, Y/N."
Y/N blushed, unsure how to respond. She had never been the center of someone's attention like this before, and it was both thrilling and intimidating.
From that day on, Ren made a point of spending more time with Y/N. He walked her to class, ate lunch with her, and even waited for her after school. His presence in her life became constant, and Y/N found herself drawn to him despite the warnings she received from others.
"Ren's not what he seems," one of her friends said quietly one day, her expression serious. "He's... different."
But Y/N brushed off the warnings, telling herself that they were just jealous. After all, how could someone so kind and attentive be dangerous?

As the weeks passed, Ren's behavior began to change. His attention, once flattering, became overwhelming. He texted Y/N constantly, demanding to know where she was and who she was with at all times. If she didn't respond immediately, he would grow anxious, flooding her with messages until she replied.
"I just worry about you," Ren would say, his voice laced with concern whenever she expressed her discomfort. "You're too important to me, Y/N. I don't want anything to happen to you."
But Y/N couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. Ren's protectiveness felt more like control, and she began to notice how he isolated her from her friends, subtly driving a wedge between her and everyone else in her life.
One evening, after a particularly tense day at school, Y/N found herself walking home alone. She had intentionally avoided Ren, needing some space to think. But as she neared her apartment, she noticed someone standing in the shadows.
It was Ren.
"Why didn't you tell me you were leaving?" he asked, his voice calm but with an edge that sent chills down Y/N's spine.
