With the pain subsiding all over my body, I finally realized that my body was being cradled within TIZ's arms. Her face was really close to mine as she seemed to be staring at me with her sharp eyes... which looked apologetic for some reason.

"...uhh... is there something wrong?"

Not saying anything, TIZ merely bent down and placed me on the ground. Thinking that she might not want to carry my body which looked like a deformed baby in her arms, I let myself lie down on the ground without any struggle as I relaxed the fingers on my arms and legs.

"...wait... my arms-!?"

I did not realize it until TIZ put me down.

My limbs, previously severed by Bailey, had miraculously recovered on their own. I could not find any trace of injury in the places where it got cut off, as if that had never happened in the first place.

It was definitely a surreal sight and experience, one that left me grappling for explanations.

As I was getting surprised by the current situation, system messages began to appear one after another, showing that FIS-HE's system had begun working properly as intended. I could gesture to open the system settings and even try to log out right away.

These were all small things, but I had never been so grateful to see something like this. It made me think that I might have taken things for granted this whole time.

"I apologize for my tardiness," TIZ said, her voice tinged with regret. "I was unable to intervene sooner."

Her words caught me off guard, making me shake my head in denial at first. But her apology made it seem like she had noticed my predicament and had only decided to come out before I was dead.

When I thought of it that way, I couldn't help but question why.

"Can you tell me... why you didn't come earlier?"

"I cannot reveal myself while you are engaged in this 'livestream' activity," she explained with a heavy tone. "I have no idea why I could not even send a system message to talk as well, so I could only watch things going south from the sidelines."

"......"

"That is why I have been trying to send a message to you as long as I could. It was only when the livestream application was terminated that my message finally got through."

"...I... see..."

Somewhat conflicting emotions began to swirl in my mind.

Thinking back, her disappearance had indeed started since the livestreaming was still going on. If what TIZ said had been true, then the struggles that I had experienced prior and during the Urgent Quest could have been alleviated if I had turned off the connection to streaming platforms that I had done.

Yet at the same time, precisely because she had not appeared all this time, she was able to get the upper hand against Bailey, allowing me to recover and even reboot FIS-HE's system.

I did not intend on making her my trump card, but she ended up becoming one in this situation.

Still, how did she do it? The explosion that knocked Bailey away can be said to be her magic, but how come she was able to recover the system's functions? She did not even understand how to interact with the game system at first, so how come she-

"...TIZ... that did not seem to be an abbreviation or acronym.

I turned my attention to the voice in the distance.

Although I had expected Bailey to not be injured, I did not expect him to be completely unharmed. The dark radiance from his eyes seemed to glow stronger instead, as if trying to say that TIZ's effort was completely useless.
