The moon hung low in the sky, casting a silvery glow over the sprawling mansion that stood silently amidst the darkness. The night was still, save for the soft rustle of leaves in the garden below. Shadows danced on the stone pathways, weaving a tapestry of mystery and suspense.
Amidst these shadows, three figures moved with the grace of predators, their presence masked by the cover of the night.
Taehyung, the one walking in the front with his intense gaze, led the way, his steps as silent as the wind that whispered through the trees. His eyes were sharp, every movement deliberate and calculated.
Behind him, Wooshik and Seojoon followed closely, their expressions a blend of anticipation and mischief, as if they were about to embark on a well-rehearsed play.
As they approached the mansion, they used the cover of the dense foliage, melding into the darkness like phantoms. Their steps were measured, the sound of crunching leaves and snapping twigs nonexistent as they moved with the precision of seasoned operatives.
"This is it, right, V?" Seojoon's voice was a low murmur, barely a whisper on the night air.
Taehyung nodded, his eyes narrowing as they fixed on the towering wall that loomed before them. The stone was weathered, aged by time, but to him, it was merely an obstacle to be conquered.
Without a word, he took the lead, his movements smooth and confident. He expertly tossed a grappling hook onto the balcony railing, the metal clinking softly as it caught hold. With the rope secured, Taehyung began his ascent, his body moving with the fluidity of a cat scaling a tree.
Reaching the sunshade, Taehyung anchored the rope firmly to a nearby tree, ensuring stability for his friends who followed in his wake. Wooshik and Seojoon climbed up next with practiced ease, their harnesses ensuring a safe passage. Taehyung guided them, his sharp eyes never missing a beat, making sure they were synchronized and silent.
The trio moved along the sunshade, their footsteps light as feathers on the aged wood. Every creak of the balcony, every flutter of a curtain, was met with a pause, a moment of calculated patience.
Taehyung led the way to the balcony door, his hand moving to ease it open with the gentlest of pushes. The door yielded a soft groan, barely audible in the stillness of the night.
They slipped inside like shadows, their movements a symphony of stealth.
The grand bedroom they entered was a scene from a dream, draped in luxurious fabrics, the air thick with the scent of polished wood and expensive cologne. The dim light cast soft hues over the room, illuminating the opulence that surrounded them. A large four-poster bed dominated the room, its canopy casting intricate patterns on the walls.
