God, how she hated that man. She used to love him, love him so much.
At the start of their relationship he was gentle, he was caring , he was loving , she couldnt believe how his own children hated him.
She used to think that he was an angel, but really he was the devil in disguise.
The first time he hit her, she was shocked , the shock hurt her more than the actual hit.
She believed he didn't mean it, he was drunk and frustrated that day, he didn't mean to.
The next morning he showered in gifts and apologies,there was a lovely boquet of snapdragons on the counter with a note saying
'I'm sorry-roger'
he was pratically on his knees begging for her forgiveness. And of course she forgived him, she forgived him everytime. He didn't mean to.
The abuse became more frequent, she did something wrong or something to annoy him, she would pay the price. He'd always apologise, always make up a stupid excuse or reason. And she forgave him each time, again, again and again.
