As she looked out at the crimson moon, it seemed to stare right back at her. Meanwhile, her parents frantically searched through the so-called home. "Haein, honey..." her mother murmured with a pained expression. With tears in her eyes, she gently placed a delicate crescent moon necklace around her daughter's neck.

"Hide..."

Haein heard the front door open within seconds of her mother's last words before she had slowly slipped inside the wardrobe not making a single noise. She felt a sudden chill come in as the door to her bedroom door opened slowly and quietly. "Where's the little girl?" the young man said in a hushed voice. The other shook his head and replied, "We need to retreat now. There's no time before they discover that we killed the woman and her husband." The young man fixed his gaze on the slightly open door of the wardrobe.

Haein's gaze met the man's, and she couldn't help but wonder why, despite his apparent interest, he didn't take the initiative to approach her.

"Hurry you two! The boss doesn't like us waiting...plus...."

"What are you doing here Jungwon? Our boss especially told you to stay home. Did he not?"

The child looked up at them and sighed "Well...Father would have never let me come until I was older... I might as well get some experience...". The older male shook his head and grabbed the boy's hand. "Let's get out of here...this family has a bunch of Supernatural Hunters. We don't want to get caught up in that now". Jungwon looked back at the wardrobe before hurriedly leaving the house with the bodyguards.

Haein steeled herself, inhaling deeply before cautiously cracking the door ajar, ensuring that the coast was clear after the guys had departed. She was all too aware of the grim truth about her parents' fate, yet she couldn't bring herself to confront it directly. Not yet. Not until she had uncovered the identity of her parents' killer. Determinedly, she made her way to their room and reached for the telephone, her fingers punching in a specific phone number.

A warm smile graced her face as she listened to the voice on the other end of the line. "Haein... It happened, didn't it?" The weight of the conversation settled in as she sank onto her parents' bed, letting out a heavy, sigh.

"Auntie... they're gone..."

"But... I heard a name mentioned among the group of men."

"Jungwon, a kid around my age... I couldn't discern what kind of beings they were, but..." She felt a presence surrounding her. Gathering the courage to cautiously examine the room, sensing the presence of another, she looked up and let out a startled cry.

"Help me..."

Those were her last words before she was pulled into the abyss.
