Indigo ran on the path past the clouds as their robe swayed with each step they took, hustling to the grand court as the gong tung across the sky lands,
it was a beautiful day in heaven as the Angels and Archangels roamed around the lower levels of heaven,
yet a disturbance caused everyone to go into panic, most flying or running to their stations, but Indigo, a high ranked Archangel, ran to the court of others,
a gathered group of beings who plotted and protected the mortals and other angels of any ranking.Indigo ran up the steps where the large doors were guarded by Thrones, yet also known as Biblically accurate angels, large rings adorned with pale blue eyes and wings of many shapes that hovered around them,
giving them the appearance to ward off evil, such as demons."May I enter." Muttered Indigo, their voice light as they looked up upon the Throne, to which they blinked and allowed Indigo entry as they rushed in and took their seat, placed besides the Principality, Aurelie, whos face veiled, who believed ones eyes should be
Shielded to protect innocence."Why must we be summoned at this occasion." Spoke Evrin, an Archangel, he was good at protecting smaller ranks, yet he didn't necessarily like his job as a border angel, made to protect the outer edges where it usually falls weak in protection against the Devil's,
"It has come to the attention of me that there is a 𝘴𝘯𝘢𝘬𝘦 among us."
Spoke a higher voice, Artemus,
a Cherubim, the highest ranking,
the most honest and most wise being upon heaven.
A few gasped as Indigo looked around, they sighed as they looked to Evrin,
he kept a stoic expression as he sighed, Indigo practically smelt the sin, and if he could, Artumas 𝘥𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘺 could."The snake specifically is being banished for two very specific reasons, first being sex with a mortal,
and second being the death of a lower class angel, both being red code and it certainly won't be tolerated."
Spoke Artemus, his voice stern, as others talked among each other,
Indigo looked at Evrin, and then at Artemus, who store at Evrin, disappointment in his eyes, yet he didn't say anything, although he wasn't one to dismiss this kind of sinnment."You all may leave, Indigo, Evrin, and Stefan stay with me." Artemus announced, his large self, everyone nodded as they quickly left to continue their work as Evrin stayed in his seat, Stefan, a Seraphim who's well known for being kindhearted,
yet he's the one who's known for banishing ones to become fallen angels, approached Artemus, his body only at waist level of Artemus who sat on his knees as he looked to Indigo and Evrin, "Evrin, are you aware of the sin you caused?" Artemus spoke, his tone cool, yet it still held a disappointed tone to it,
Evrin nodded,
he didn't speak as he was to ashamed to.
"And do you understand why I must banish you?" Asked Artemus, Evrin nodded, yet Indigo stood from their chair,
"this is stupid." They said,
looking at Artemus,
who had a shocked expression,
"excuse me?" He gasped,
"You heard me! This is stupid! Why should you just banish Evrin for loving someone, and the messed up part was he only killed the angel who killed his husband!" Indigo exclaimed,
Artemus was to taken aback to say anything, "Stefan! Banish both of them! Rip their wings!" Artemus hissed, although he was known for having a cool exterior, when one was to go against his words, he got enraged.Stefan looked at Evrin and Indigo,
Evrin was still surprised that Indigo had done that, yet he stood and protected Indigo as Stefan was forced to swing his sword, the blade slashed across his ring and back, he gritted his teeth as he held onto Indigo as the crimson blood fell onto the marble flooring, Indigo gasped as he looked at Evrin, who held a pained expression on his pale, heavenly face,
"Evrin..." Indigo muttered,
yet as the floor caved in beneath the two, they were dropped,
falling into the sky as their pale skin darkened into a melonated tan shade, their failed-to-be torn wings dinmed into a black colour,
as they hit the ground into the mortal realm,
Evrin moaned in pain as he hit the ground, holding Indigo in his arms as he passed out, bleeding into the grass as they layed in the underbrush of a forest, yet as they layed,
Indigo heard the snap of a twig.
