As I made my way to the kingdom of heaven where the goddess of all angels lived, I kept thinking about what reason she could have called me. I was a perfect angel and never broke any rules she had made for us. My white hair that stopped at my waist and the paleness of my skin was the exact image she had told the whole heaven she wanted for all her followers. I was about to walk up the stairs that lead to her white castle, but a guard stopped me.
-"You cannot go into her Highness's castle without a reason or an invitation."
I stared at him in confusion, it wasn't like that before. I had been to the goddess of all angels a couple of times before and the guards always let me pass without questioning me.
-"The goddess of all angels called me to talk to me, I have a letter from her if that is enough." I told him.
The guard nodded and I took the letter that her Highness had sent me from my pocket and gave it to him. It took him a minute to read and analyze it before giving it back to me and letting me pass. I thanked him by a nod and walked up all the stairs that lead to the castle.
Before I could open the big doors to go inside, another guard showed up in front of me, scaring me.
-"You cannot go into her Highness's castle without a reason or an invitation." He told me.
I stared at him, extremely confused, the other guard had told me the same exact thing. I took out the letter that I had put back in my pocket 5 minutes ago and gave it to him. He read the letter and looked at the marking to make sure that it was real before eyeing me.
-"What's your name child?" He asked.
-"Winter." I answered.
He analyzed me once again before giving me the letter back and opening the front doors. While I walked past him, I felt his eyes on me, making me uncomfortable. I continued my walk to the throne room where the goddess of all angels was waiting for me.——————————————
I wiped my sweaty hands on my dress before knocking on the doors leading to the throne. After the third knock, the two white doors opened on their own and I could see her Highness sitting on her white throne with her servants on both sides.
-"Come my angel and sit before me." She told me while pointing to the small chair in front of her.
I nodded my head and walked to the chair. She signaled me to sit and I followed her orders. She had a look in her eyes that I had never seen before, hatred. She looked at me like I had committed the worst crime she had ever heard of. I placed my hands on my lap and began to play with my fingers, stressed and scared.
-"I have given you everything you had ever wanted, I gave you emotions, feelings and life, why have you betrayed me after all that?" She screamed at me.
I didn't understand anything, I never did anything wrong, I followed all her rules and respected her boundaries. I tried to open my mouth to speak, but nothing came out. I wasn't speechless, I had become mute.
-"You will never speak again, insulting my best servant is a crime punishable by death and so will you be punished with." She told me.
My eyes opened as wide as they could and if I could still talk, I would argue with her Highness. I could never insult anyone. I jumped from my seat and tried to explain to her Highness with my hands that I didn't do anything wrong. She took both of my hands in hers and looked deep into my eyes.
-"You will never be forgiven."
I continued to stare at her while she walked away from me. A servant appeared beside her Highness with a brown box in her hands. I watched as the god of all angels opened it carefully and took out a small cloud. She walked back to me and placed the cloud in front of my face.
-"Take her from this divine place and throw her into the flames." She screamed.
I tried to run to her, but a sort of heavy white fog hit me in the face and knocked me out. I couldn't do anything but lay on the ground. I felt the cold of the floor disappear and be replaced by the hotness of flames. I felt dizzy and had difficulties opening my eyes. I sat and took my head in my hands before rubbing my eyes. When I could finally open my eyes, all that I could see were flames, no more white palace.
