"You're horrible," I muttered.

"I know."

"You're distracting me from meditating."

"Sorry. I'll shut up."

"Thank you." I closed my eyes. I breathed in and out slowly.

"But why do you think that is?"

My eyes whipped open once against and I slapped Dem's chest, hard. "Shut up! Do you know why vampires meditate? To get rid of their pent up energy and aggression. Its always there and you can never sate it. There's this bloodlust we can't control, by you distracting me, I can become feral. So please, let me let it go." Tears welled in my eyes of frustration. I didnt want to remember Eli. Whenever I talked about bloodlust, Eli aways was on my mind.

Dem's eyes softened. "I-I'm sorry Zoey. No need to cry." He pulled me into my arms.

I pulled away from him. "I'm not crying because I'm sad. I cry because the sun hurts my eyes you idiot." I lied and wiped my eyes.

"You're lying."

"Ugh, you werewolves never understand. Do you know what bloodlust is?"

"No."

I rolled my eyes. "Alright. Long story short, Chaos was a vampire who broke the heart of a very powerful witch. She was full of spite so she cursed the vampire race with bloodlust. Bloodlust is a drug to us, one that makes us frenzied with the need to collect it. We can use it to lure people to have sex with us. We can lure people in, feed off them then kill them. We get more powerful that way. The closer we are to bloodlust, the more we are feral. We can't control it. The bloodlust, it makes me edgy. There is no real relief from it, except feeding. I can absorb incredible amounts of it, but if I didn't get rid of it by meditation, sex or fighting, my head will feel like it would explode and my body would feel feverish. And no Immortal that I know can keep up with vampires. Fighting, meditation and sex are the only three known cures."

Dem stared at me. "Then why don't you have sex?"

"Like is said, I can absorb incredible amounts of it so it is hard. That's why I'm out of control sometimes. When the demon takes over more."

Demetri nodded. "I get it now."

"Good."

"Have sex with me," Dem blurted, "I can keep up with vampires."

My eyes rounded. "Hell no."

"Why not?"

"I hardly know you. And I don't like werewolves."

"Why do hate us so much?"

"Because they killed my parents and sister. My brother is in hiding from them." When I first got here, Rose told me who killed my parents and sister. Roman Bruno. He killed my family and he is the head of the Bruno werewolf pack. Nobody has seen him in years though. Him and his pack are murderers. And because Eli hurt me. I had good reasons to hate werewolves.

"Yeah but not all of them killed your family."

"Vampires and werewolves have been in war for years, it's natural to hate," I shrugged.

"Vampires killed my sister, I don't really hate them. Only the ones that hate me," Dem stroked my cheek. The dull ache was getting stronger in my chest.

I stared into his eyes. "Then you must hate me."

"You don't hate me. Because you would of fought harder to get rid of me."

I shook my head and closed my eyes. "No. I know better than not to fight with Rose," I opened my eyes and placed my hands on Dem's shoulders. I felt his tense muscles, "Damn you're tense."

"Because the full moon is tonight."

"Crescent moon is in two days. Vampires are going to be in full power."

"And tonight we're going to be in full power. That's why everyone is picking fights."

I nodded. "Werewolves get massages when they are tense like that."

"How do you know?"

"Rose gives massages to werewolves when they are tense. For their muscles when they Shift. You could go ask her. She'll be happy to do it."

"Nah. She's busy."

"I can do it for you," I whispered. Wait? Why did I just say that?

"Seriously."

"Yes. Sit in front of me on the ground. Take off you shirt."

"Wait? Are you just trying to see me shirtless again?"

"No. Rose does it with the guys shirtless." I shrugged. I use to do this with Eli. I sighed.

"Oh okay." Dem took off his shirt and gave it to me. I set in down. I placed my hands on Dem's tense muscles. I started working them out to loosen the tension.

After a while they were loosened. I heard this weird purring noise. Mmm, I like the noise. I leaned closer to Dem. I yearned to kiss him. I kissed his neck slowly. The purring stopped. I opened my eyes. Crap. I just kissed Demetri. Eww. I wanted to wash my mouth out with bleach.

"Sorry." Demetri said sheepishly.

"Why?"

"When male wolves purr, its our mating call. It happens around a full moon. It only happens to weres that are not mated the traditional way. Like our own version of sex energy. We lure people around us."

I nodded. Eli use to have that before. "Okay. Thanks for letting me know. That was creepy. Me getting controlled by that animalistic urge." I shuddered. I looked at the sky. It was dark out. "Crap before you Shift on me and eat me, I should go to bed."

"Alright. I walk you," Dem said.

I nodded. Dem and I walked to my dorm house. All the lights were off. I stared at him. "Well, goodnight."

"Nothing good about it." Dem sighed. "Alright night. See you tomorrow morning."

"Okay." I stood there like an idiot before I went inside. What was I expecting? A kiss? Ugh.

Dem walked off into the woods were werewolves were all walking to. They were all going to Shift. I saw Burnett walked over there with sweats on. He looked sweaty and scared. Just like how Dem looked right before he left. I wondered how bad it was to Shift. There wasn't a lot of werewolves before we joined camps so I never knew how bad it was.

I growled another curse word. I stuffed my pillow over my head. My sensitive ears were hurting to the howls of the werewolves. They were howling in pain of their Shift. I banged my head and screamed into my pillow. The witches and the Fae probably were alseep. But all the vamps were awake. Stupid super hearing.

I got up and went to Ridley's room. "Rid you alseep?"

"How can I? Those stupid dogs are making my ears literally bleed," Ridley sat up in bed, "Their cries are so sharp. Sharp enough to shatter glass."

I sat next to her. "I really want to go outside to tell them to shut up, but--"

"Its worse outside," Ridley said.

I nodded. "I figured."

"Everyone is probably fast asleep except the vamps."

"That's what I was thinking," I held my ears.

I felt a wetness in my ear. I pulled back and looked at my hand. Shit my ears were actually bleeding. I frowned. "Damn. I'm going bat-shit crazy."

"Please, I already went there," Ridley moaned.
