it was pretty late at night, 12 am to be exact.

tigres had just lost to club america a few days ago, but only by 1 goal.

out of the the whole team, Sebastian Cordova and Diego Lainez, ex americanistas themselves felt it more then the rest.

secretly Sebastian couldn't stand being near Diego. He found him irritating, and small.

"Ese pinche Lainez cree que sabe todo, siempre anda como que si fuera mejor que todos como fresita."

Diego being newer at the time, took the opportunity to get to know a guy with similar experiences with him. Wanting to make some new friends.

being the cause of their sudden pair. Sebastian was beyond this, Diego was just excited.

they had a match coming up the next day, in Atlanta, Georgia, against Atlanta FC.

as a way to get to know each other the guys were told to sit with their new roomate on their flight to the ATL airport.

"pinche... suerte. que mala."

sebas took his seat and looked out the plane window. Staring outside as he'd rather do that instead.

then he heard that bad bunny blasting from headphones coming from a mile away.

"matame ya."

then his younger roomate sat right next to him.

"Que onda güey?" Diego says offering his hand for a shake.

Sebas just fake smiles and ignores the handshake.

"Nada y tu?" Sebas responds.

"Pues aquí sentado en un avion. Contigo." Diego says laughing at his own joke.

Sebas does the casual haha. And is not amused one bit by Diego's joke.

this is gonna be a longggg flight.

diego insists at trying ti be friends. Sebas is clearly uninterested in giving this dude a chance.

"Tu as estado en europa?" Diego asks him.

"No, yo no." Sebas responds.

"Que lastima. Yo si estaba en España y en Portugal." Diego said.

is he bragging??? or what is this?

"Pues que lastima que estes ahora en Mexico verdad?" Sebas says clapping back.

This shuts Diego up. He finally takes the hint.

For the rest of the flight, these two remain silent.

Deep down Sebas kinda regretted his snapping at Diego. I mean he hadn't done anything to him personally...?

but... apologizing??? Thats not a good look on him, at all.

so he just decides to shut up and keep the silence going.
