'I did it mom' I thought as I reminisce of everything I managed to accomplish in just 5 long years. I have managed to graduate with multiple masters under my belt, having graduated high school at just 16 years old allowed me to truly focus on my next goal which was going to college for two years before transferring to the university and working towards my masters.

Now as I walked off the stage after getting my master, I was embraced in the warmth of both my dad and my uncle charlie who congratulated me as he handed me a bouquet of all my favorite flowers,

"Your mom would be so proud of you Rina, you accomplished so much at just 21! Your amazing kiddo." I blushed at being complimented by uncle charlie, I can only hope that I have made mom proud, I grabbed onto Dad's hand and uncle Charlie's as I joke alongside them as we headed towards the exit.

Carina was thrilled to have graduated with multiple master's degrees. She was overjoyed that Uncle Charlie and her dad had traveled to be there for her. As they spent time together before she packed up to head back to Forks after being away for five years, Carina asked them to catch her up on everything that had happened in Forks while she was gone.

"So, what's been happening in Forks while I've been away?" Carina asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

Uncle Charlie chuckled. "Oh, you wouldn't believe it. The town's changed quite a bit."

Dad nodded. "Yeah, there's a lot to catch up on. New shops, some new families moved in...and, oh, Bella's moving in with Charlie."

Carina's eyes widened in surprise. "Wait, what? Bella's moving in with you, Uncle Charlie? She hasn't stayed with you since she was, what, 12 or 13?"

Uncle Charlie smiled. "Yeah, it's true. She decided to come live with me. It's been a while since she spent more than just the summer here."

Carina shook her head in disbelief. "Wow, that's...unexpected. I can't wait to see her again. This is going to be interesting."

Dad laughed. "You bet it will be. Forks has a way of surprising you."

~Time Skip~
Carina woke up in her hotel room, the events of the previous day still fresh in her mind. She had returned late last night, exhausted but happy after spending the day with her dad and Uncle Charlie before they left. Rolling over in bed, she noticed the morning light beginning to filter through the curtains. With a grunt, she sat up and stretched, feeling the pleasant ache of a day well spent.

She stood up and groggily headed into the bathroom, the cool tiles under her feet waking her up a bit more. As she turned on the shower, she let the warm water wash away the remnants of sleep, her mind already racing with thoughts of the day ahead. Today, she would be heading back to Forks, a place she hadn't seen in five years.

After her shower, Carina started packing her things, making sure she had everything she needed for the journey. She wanted to arrive in Forks before the sun set, eager to see the town that held so many memories and to reconnect with her cousin Bella..which given the fact that neither of them have talked to one another in years, is gonna be a one way ticket to complete awkwardness between them.

As she zipped up her suitcase, she couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nervousness. The fresh start she had been looking forward to was finally here, and she was ready to embrace whatever surprises Forks had in store for her.
