As Kai wakes up for 8th grade she realizes there's blood all around her, on her pink bed sheets. Her moody self is turned around.
"What the fuck!" Kai screams even though she's not allowed to cuss in her mom's house.
"Kai! Language!"
"Shut up." She whispered as she realizes it's her period. She goes to grab a towel to just put that on her bed because she's to lazy to do whatever she has to do to clean her period blood up. She just wants to go back to bed but she has to shower and grab her clothes and change, brush her hair and teeth, and breakfast and other things but it's already 6:02 am.
"Kai! It's 6:49 am. Your gonna miss the bus!"
"Oh shit." Kai says and runs to the bus while she forgets her water bottle
