'I need to see Louise, and I need it to be unofficial, Jeon.'

'A message can be sent anonymously, my prince. Will that do?'

'He won't be persuaded, I know it. But I have an idea, Jeon. Louise often takes a stroll around the public bazaar every weekend. It's a tradition he follows, and I'm certain that he'll be disguised as a commoner. He never takes his guards when he's veiled, and fortunately I know the route he takes. If we confront him likewise, we can easily extract the needed information without much travail.'

'If that does the deed.'

'It will. I'm sure. But we shouldn't make a direct approach. Trap him in an alley, Jeon. You and I from both the sides. If he is armed, we fight him. If he keeps it low, so do we. Clear?'

'Yes, my prince.'

'He's the only source that can help us in this investigation. Meanwhile, I want information from the inside as well. We won't be provoking him with the assumptions we've made around Miander.
