Peverelle left early today but she did tell me that she saw Jathen and had a talk with him, hindi ko na lang nga sure kung nasa taas pa rin siya as we prepared to close today.
"Ingat!!" I wave a hand goodbye when someone bids me farewell.
I'm not even sure why he asked me that it's still weirding me out, not that it's a big deal, but him being here tonight is a surprise, I just didn't expect him to say that though.
I wasn't offended by anything, I can take any questions regarding that matter, he looks like he really is dealing with something, I'm not close with him but I think he looks different these days.
"You're still here?" I fixed my hair when I saw him standing outside.
He had his mask and hoodie on but I recognized him right away because of his eyes.
"Pwede... mag-request ng hot chocolate?" I smirked and I shook my head.
"Why not." and so I jumped in the car with him as he drove us to the pastry shop.
The drive was quick and quiet, but I must say it was comfortable. For some reason, I didn't feel any awkwardness between the two of us.
The way his eyes are looking made me forget that he is a superstar.
"Hindi ba magagalit si Kweslin?"
I shook my head and found the key to the shop inside my bag and opened it. I just turned on some of the lights para 'di kami mahirapan sa loob and put my bag down on the counter.
"Ginagawa rin nila madalas ni kuya Erreo 'to kapag nag lambing na siya," I muttered and i-open the lights in the kitchen.
Inasikaso ko agad 'yung mga gagamitin para makagawa na 'ko ng hot chocolate, there's also a leftover croissant so I took three and heat them up, 'yung mga natitira kasing ganito from yesterday was being saved para sa amin kinabukasan, ito rin kasi gustong gusto namin inaalmusal.
Hindi na ako lumabas ng kitchen at inantay na matapos ang chocolate dahil narealize ko lang ngayon kung sino and nasa labas.
I was still being star struck by them when I realized whose I was looking at, si kuya Erreo nga na matagal ko ng kilala nahiya ako nung bumalik and when I started seeing him again, they all looked different, and the fact that were not really close made it a little hard.
Lumabas ako ng kitchen and finally served him what I prepared, he removed his mask and the hood from his head and started blowing the hot chocolate in front of him, he had his eyes closed.
Umupo ako ng dahan dahan sa harapan niyang upuan and took a bite of the croissant, hindi pala ako masyado nakakain ng dinner kanina, andaming tao at ang saya ng Studio Base kanina, I was so busy.
"Do you pray over people?" I shrugged and took a sip of the chocolate.
"What's with this?" I couldn't help but ask, he's acting weird.
"I just attended my first love's wedding two months ago." he slurred, leaned his back on the seat, and crossed his legs and arms.
Bumagsak ang tingin ko sa umuusok na mga hot chocolate sa lamesang nasa harapan ko.
What?
"Two months ago?" I muttered more for myself, oh?
His first love?
"Are you sure you can say that to me?" I smiled at him when he opened his eyes and our gaze met.
"I don't even know why I'm here with you, Ithiel." natawa ako ng mahina at tumango.
