Touya's pov:

What was this dumbass thinking. He could have gotten hurt. And why would he offer to take me to the infirmary when he doesn't even know where it is! But I should thank him. Or not.

"Hey th-" I try to get the words out, but a sharp pain engulfs my body. I started getting weak in the knees. "You ok?" Taiyo asked me with a concerned look. I say yeah, because I'm not about to look weak in front of him. He's probably going to end up teasing me.

"Y'know you shouldn't get involved with people like that. Especially considering your... current situation." Taiyo speaks firmly. For a second I was going to agree with him, but the I realized he just called me weak! "Are you calling me weak? How would you like it if I called you weak, earthling?" Silence. I think earthling sounded a little cringy considering I'm not that different from him. "Mind you, I've lived in space for a good while chunk of my life. What have you done?" He hasn't responded to either of my comments. It's a little bit nerve racking and unlike him. By now we should already be at each other's throats. I think?.

Taiyo's pov

The walk to the infirmary was quiet. Then I heard Touya try to speak then I abruptly stop. I ask if he's ok and though he says yes I don't really think he is. He just got punched in the gut. I hope taking him to the infirmary won't be a daily occurrence.
"Y'know you shouldn't evolve yourself with people like that. Especially considering your... current situation." I say to him, instantly regretting it. Why did I have to say it like that. Know he's going to think that I think he's weak.
Touya takes a pause then starts to speak but I'm already too deep in my thoughts to process his words. I snap out of it once I heard something about an... earthling? Did Touya just call me an earthling? I want to burst out laughing but then I realize, "We just passed the infirmary."

"What? No we didn't-" "oh"
Touya and I walk in to be greeted by the nurse. "How can I help you?" She's wearing a white coat and an id card that says;
'head nurse: Akita Rin.'
"Uh, hi. My friend just got punched in the gut and he doesn't look so well." I then explained what I saw and what happened in the hall just now. She tells him to sit on the bed so she can make sure he's ok. She says I can take a seat a little further away from where she stands, or that I could simply go home since it's a half day. I did what anyone would do and went home. Well, not before I stopped to order something to help with the pain, to be delivered to his house. And watched out the kitchen window to make sure he got home. And texted him asking if he's ok. And sat up all night thinking of what I'm supposed to do if this happens again. And- y'know what? I'm just gonna end it there. I need sleep. A lot of it.

Once again I mean the chapter. Byeeeee I'll try to update more often cuz lord knows I practically only update every 6 months.
