"Good morning Jasper." Velma cooed at me. She was standing with back turned to me in her rose garden. I took my time strolling down the brick pathway. Tall shrubs with bright bursts of red, white, and yellow surrounded me on both sides. "Please, have a seat. We can stay out here today."

She gestures to her right where a set of benches sat surrounding the little fountain in the center. As her majesty takes a seat to the left I perch across from her on the right. "I'm assuming I am here for a field report ma'am?"

"Yes. How is your cover going? Have you located Samantha yet?" If only.

"The cover is going well enough, no one so far has questioned either of us. Granted, having William already there and established defiantly helps plead our case. Sadly, I have not been able to locate Samantha yet. Any witches I have sensed have all been weak and feeble. However, I do have something I can offer to you that you may enjoy."

She twirls the rose around in her hand, toying with it, peeling back the petals. She glances up from the floor only to lock eyes with me. "Carry on." Her brow peaked in interest.

"Does the name Evan Scott mean anything to you?" A sly smile escapes from me as I watch her overcome with eagerness. She didn't dare take her eyes off me now, rose all but forgotten.

"Scott. As in Melissa Scott? Lisa's sister?"

"Yes. Good. I have someone on the inside with Scott. I think he can help lead me to Lisa through Melissa."

"Does he know who you are? Or Lisa for that matter? I was not even aware that Monica had a child." Hmm. I wonder how it is and why it is so late down the road why the sisters had spawn now. They'd been alive for hundreds of years and never bothered to reproduce. Were their numbers dwindling?

"I am left to wonder if their coven has gone through a shock. Or perhaps they are trying to create a new breed of hybrids? Either way it seems odd to me that they both so happened to have children around the same time, so randomly. It's like they are preparing for something. Something big that we are not in the loop for. That very well may be more important than the death of Lisa Verda."

"While that is all fine and well, you still neglected to answer my question." Oh yeah. I'd been so lost in thought I had forgotten. I shuffle my feet lightly over the bits of gravel and weeds popping up between the bricks underneath me.

"He might know who I am, he defiantly knows what I am. I don't know if he knows of his aunt, regardless he is someone to keep tabs on because he is strong. If Monica trained him in anything extra he will be useful to us either way. While he may not be a direct threat inside the city there is no telling what a were-wolf that strong would do out in the 'real world'. I haven't caught wind of anyone smelling or feeling anything like Monica or Lisa inside the school. They have been amazing at hiding their tracks."

"Monica it seems has been careless. How did you find out about Evan?" I did not even consider how easy it was to find out who Evan was. Most of the time out in the supernatural world we had our own frequency we can communicate on, much like telepathy or mind reading. We cant speak to or mind read humans unless feeding, but other vampires, werewolves, witches and shapeshifters we can feel and communicate with. This is how we identify each other other than scent most of the time. Sadly, inside the dome of that city that ability is removed. We can still sense and smell each other but our forms of communication and mind reading are blocked. Otherwise I would just be able to read the mind of every witch in the building and find out whos real name was Samantha. Instead I had to find another way around the alias. This is what Velma was refering to, her and Evan not having an alias.

"Oddly enough... school records. Had them both listed plainly." I give her a knowing look. "Do you think it's a trap your majesty?"

"I think there are three possibilities. One is she is ballsy and doesn't care if she is found because she knows she can defeat us, but then if that is true why is her sister and her daughter hiding? Two is she was careless and didn't think anyone could get to her simply because of the city limit protection. Three is that it's a trap meant to warn Lisa we are coming for her."

"So depending on how I react it will set Monica up for some sort of presentation for Lisa."

"Precisely."

"So what message do we send?"

"None." What? As she stands up she pulls her purple skirts around her. "We are done here for today. Return to one of your homes please. " She lets her dress fall down hen she is back on the pathway and begins her sashay away.

"What? What approach am I supposed to take then? Clearly me just going to school every day isn't working!" Velma stops walking but keeps her back to me and doesn't offer me any response. "This is the way in. This is how we can end this!"

"Jasper. I regret to inform you this is only A way in; not the way in." She looks back at me, her hair falling lightly over her face, "I will offer you this bread crumb, your sister is your way in. She doesn't know it but she holds the memory of where the house is. If you find the house you will find Samantha." She flashes me a sinister smile and continues her walk back to the palace.

I don't understand how my sister knows where the house is. Or anything about Lisa for that matter, at least from when we were little, human, kids.
