another scream. and another. starting to sound strangled now
'oml. is it a murder? or is someone in trouble? should i go check it out. no its too dangerous. but what if someone needs help?' you try to decide
curiosity gets the better of you as you trudge through the dark forest, phone flashlight in your hand.
you walk in the direction of the screams
"h-help! me! som- pleas-!" their screams tell you their in trouble
you sprint as fast as your short/long legs take you
"HELLO? ANYONE HERE" you shout as loud as your lungs can take it
then you see a figure
thrashing and disappearing under the river's strong current. only to pop up a few seconds later and disappear again
you had to save them. the river eventually led to a waterfall. they would die if they fell down there
"hold on i'm coming" you shout to them
and with that, you throw your jacket and boots onto the soft white snow and dive head first straight into the dangerous, dark, cold, and uninviting waters
