It's been a weird few days for John, he's not sure fully what he's done to Gionna but whatever it is, it's stopped her from coming home this past week, he went back to Florida after RAW like they always did, only when he walked through the door, expecting to see her and their many, many dogs, she wasn't there, just a text telling him she's going to be staying up in New York for a few days... they have 2 homes, one in Florida where they spend most of their time and one up in New Jersey where they have a little farm land, it was Gionna's home before she moved down to Florida with John after a year or so of dating.
John couldn't really think about what's going on with Gio right now, it's easier said then done because he loves her to pieces, he just wants to know she isn't screwing Dom behind his back, sure the guys married but that doesn't always stop them, to be fair, he's not sure if it's actually that that's bothered him, it's just escalated to that, really he's just upset that Gionna wasn't waiting for him at SummerSlam like he has been for years now.
Jessica: John!
John has literally just walked into the building with the others, Joe, Tama, Tonga and Joseph all ready to put on a show but before that, John has a side project he told them all about over the past week, he's not sure if Jessica is going to interfere with their story or vice versa but they'll see, maybe Tiffany Stratton will join the Bloodline.
John: Go ahead, I'll catch up.
The new Bloodline smirked before walking off, Joe however gave him a look that told him not to fuck this up, their people don't exactly support the whole "cheating" thing, as long as John keeps this shit in the workplace, they'll let it slide but anything outside and he could face punishment, not just from Gionna but the Anoaʻi family, Joe can't lose another brother just because he thought with his little head.
Jessica: How's the hand?
John looked back to her then down to his left hand that he hit the wall with the other day he and Gionna had that... well, suppose you can call it an argument, the knock on his door that night was her, she heard what happened and came to make sure everything was okay, it was sweet of her but she didn't need to do that, so he looked back at her with a small chuckle...

... John did need to get going so he indicated for her to walk with him, they had only met a few times before that night and she didn't leave till she knew he was okay, John appreciated that, maybe that's why he was so quick to accept this new storyline, Gionna made him feel second to another guy, Jessica made him feel like he was her number 1 intention, it was a nice feeling actually.
John: Much better thanks to you.
Jessica smiled to him while brushing her hair behind her ear, to most this would be a sign but to John it was nothing because he didn't see her doing it, so instead they walked and talked till it was time for their little segment, Jessica was already ready, she just needed a few props while John just kept in what he arrived in, he didn't need to change, he's reping his Tribal Chief with the new "OTC" shirt, so might as well just go with it, however he found himself getting into a little daydream state while staring at her.
