When they got inside, they saw Ron and Hermione chatting. "Hey Mione," Ginny plopped onto the floor next to her. "Hey Ginny." Hermione said smiling at her. "Can we play a game before bed?" "No." Ron said almost immediately. "Come onn Ron. You're no fun." Ginny whined. "Your games are always dumb." "But this is gonna be our last sleepover all of us together for a long time." "She's got a point." Hermione said. "Ugh fine." Ron said reluctantly. "What game?" Harry asked sitting next to her with a bowl of popcorn. "Give me some of that!" Ron lunged for the bowl. "Ron geez!" Hermione rolled her eyes. "Truth or dare!" Ginny said excitedly. "ok who wants to start?" Hermione asked. "I will." Harry volunteered. "Ok." Ginny grabbed a handful of popcorn. "Ron, Truth or Dare?" "Dare, duh. Who do you think I am?" "Fine." Harry said smirking. "Oh you're in for it, Ron." Hermione said laughing. "Do you remember the last Gryffindor party?" Ummmm yes I think about it every day Ron thought but instead laughed and said, "I don't ever want to remember that game of Truth or Dare." "Why? What happened?" Ginny asked. "Dean and Harry plotted behind Ron's back and dared him to tell Professor Mcgonagall that Dumbledore was 'looking for her' if you know what I mean." Hermione winked jokingly at Ginny. "Oooooooh!!!" Ginny yelled. "Shhh!" Ron really didn't want his mum to hear. "That's awesome! Top it Harry! Top it!" Ginny popped another piece of popcorn in her mouth. "Okay. Ron, I dare you to yell 'Avada Kedavra' in front of Fred and George's door." (I know they haven't learnt the spell yet but just pretend they have lol). "Noo!!" Ron yelled rolling his eyes. "Yesss!!" Ginny exclaimed. "I've gotta see this." So she followed Ron and mere seconds later they ran back in, laughing. "That was great!" Ginny was practically rolling on the floor. Soon they were all crying laughing. "Okay, okay." Ginny finally came out of it. "Back to the game." "Okay." Hermione said still giggling wiping her eyes. "My turn." Ginny straightened up. "Ginny truth or dare?" "I feel like I'm gonna regret it if I pick dare so truth!" "No! Dare makes it fun!!" Harry said. 'I'm not taking that risk!" Ginny said. "Okay, so, what are you most nervous about for starting Hogwarts?" "Come onnn Mione!" Ginny moaned. "Do something juicy!" 'Is someone scared to answer the question?" Ron teased Ginny. "No! But I want something jucier." Ginny defended. "Mhmm." Ron said jokingly. "Alright but you asked for it. Do you think Neville Longbottom's cute?" Ginny made a face of disgust. "Ew no!" Now Hermione didn't believe her. "Fine. My turn." Ginny said getting frustrated. Ron and Hermione just laughed. "Truth or dare?" Ginny asked Hermione. "Truth." She said still laughing slightly. "Is it true you have a secret boyfriend?" Ginny asked. Harry dropped his popcorn kernel. Hermione stopped laughing and turned serious. "Who told you that?!" Hermione demanded. "Ron!" Ginny answered quickly pointing at Ron, who looked like he wanted his face ripped off. "Ginny...uh- let's go make some more popcorn." Harry urged. "Yeah popcorn." They both left the room clearly not wanting to be there when Hermione blew her top. Ginny had never seen Hermione that mad before. "You told her!" Hermione screamed at Ron as soon as they left. "I figured if it was Ginny you wouldn't care!" Ron flung his hands up. "I'm sure you did." Hermione scoffed. "I just can't believe it! When I asked you TEARS streaming down my face to keep it a secret you just came home and blabbed to the first person you saw!" "I didn't know it was that big of a deal!" "No it's bigger than that Ron! You broke my trust!" Ginny and Harry sat down in the living room downstairs listening to Ron and Hermione shout at each other. "Sooo." Ginny said in the middle of the shouting. "What's you favorite subject?" "Let me ask you this." Ron yelled. "If it was SO devastating to keep it a secret, then why didn't you break up with him?" "I don't want to talk to you about this." Hermione scowled with her arms crossed. "No, Mione! I need explanations and I need them now! No more secrets! I would tell you! You know I would!" Hermione started to cry with all her fury. "Cause his father would never accept me to be his girlfriend cause I'm a muggle!" "That doesn't explain the secrets Mione." Ron said a little calmer. "Because, it's dangerous for him! Don't you understand that?! His father could kill him if he found out! So we're keeping it a secret cause we don't want rumors to spread to his father. And you know what was stupid, Ronald?" Ron had never heard her use his full name seriously before. "I trusted you. That- was dumb." The tears started to spill down her cheeks now and in that moment all she wanted was her best friend. "Why is he worth all that? Give me one good reason!" Ron said. "Because I love him!" Hermione screamed. Ron was shocked. Hermione was now really trying to keep herself from breaking down. Ron went over to comfort her but she turned away and started packing up. "What are you doing?"Ron asked. "Leaving." Hermione said flatly. "I'll walk home." She took her backpack downstairs quickly (She had brought her bag of stuff from Diagon Alley back) and when Harry and Ginny saw her coming downstairs with her bag and crying they quickly stood up. Ginny ran to give her a hug. "Tell your mum thanks for everything." Hermione hugged Ginny back tightly holding back the rest of her tears. Ginny started to cry too. Harry hated seeing either of them hurt. And the worst part was he was caught in between. He didn't wanna have to choose between his two best friends. Ron ran downstairs after Hermione. She was about to open the door but he yelled, "Mione, wait!" Hermione whipped around. "It's Hermione, Ronald Weasley!" She slammed the door and left. And Ron just stood there wanting to fall through the depths of the earth.
