"Alex! For the love of God please turn this music off." I plea to my best friend.

"Absolutely not! It's Taylor Swift!" she grins at me as she repositions her camera in front of her face.

"Now look sexy!" Alex commands as she resumes our photoshoot.

She got a new camera and wanted to test some shots out with me.

With a huff and a glare I pose as seductively as I can.

"Damn my best friend is so fucking hot!" the brunette exclaims, trying to hype me up as she continues getting some shots in.

"Keep going." I grin through my teeth.

"Sexiest motherfucker on the planet." she smirks.

"Stop!!" I bring my hands to my cheeks pretending to blush as she waves her hand telling me we can take a break.

"Oh, these look sick." she beams as she goes back through the photos on her camera.

"You'll have to send me the finished ones." I say in between my sips of water.

"Well, of course." Alex replies.

"Soooo what's the attire for tonight?" she questions as she gets out her laptop so she could start editing the pictures.

"Little. Black. Dress." I answer as I take a seat on the couch across from her.

She thinks it over, "Hmmm I can do that."

"You better be able to. We are going so fucking hard tonight." I laugh to myself, scrolling on my phone.

"I mean there is so much to celebrate tonight, you're covering the next issue of Vogue. I landed another movie." I start.

"With.." Alex clears her throat wanting me to finish her sentence.

"With Thomas Payne." I genuinely smile to myself.

"Arden, I'm so damn proud of you. You've been wanting to work with him for ages. I mean he's an incredible director and with his direction I think it might finally happen. No, scratch that, it will finally happen. You're gonna get an Oscar nom." she looks up from her laptop looking me in the eyes.

"I don't want to jinx anything but I can't help but have that same feeling." I voice shyly.

"It's happening. Claiming it now." Alex says with determination.

"Well, let's take a pregame shot to that." I suggest getting up from my spot on the couch.

"Do not give me that terrible tasting Malibu!" she exclaims as I leave the room and make my way to the kitchen.

She hates Malibu, and I am more than aware of that but I decided to be funny the last time we pre-gamed and gave her a shot of that. She immediately threw it up. Vowing to kill me if I ever did that again.

The quiet murmur of my phone causes me to pause in my movements.

"Louis." I greet.

"Arden." he returns the greeting.

"So, look, I know you said it was supposed to be girls night with just you and Alex but I was wondering if I could swing by? I miss you and I want to celebrate with you too." he questions into the phone.

"Umm." I pause, trying to come up with an excuse.

I'd prefer if he'd stay the fuck away to be honest but it's hard to get my way around him.

"I'll bring some friends for her." he throws out an idea.

"Then yeah that's fine." I sigh.

Alex may or not be obsessed with his friends.
