Chapter 10

Athena's POV
It was the next day and I couldn't stop smiling. I know it's cheesy but I can't stop thinking about Nick. After our Kiss, he walked me back home and kissed me goodnight.

~TIME SKIP~

I was at practice and let me tell you we were bad. Now that we merged teams we can never agree on anything and nobody can get along. In the middle of running the drill, the boys start arguing and my dad has us line up on the baseline.

My dad grabs his phone and starts playing Ahamad.

"Who's this" he asks us

I was going to answer when one of the boys decided to go with a dumb answer and say old people and because of that answer, we all had to run down the court and back.

He kept playing song after song until the final song started.

All the boys started to say it was Cardi B "Actually boys that is Missy Elliot," I said with a proud smile on my face. "That's correct Athena but sadly your team didn't get it right so that means down and back" In response, we all smacked our teeth and did as we were told, and that's how it went for the rest of practice.

~TIME SKIP~

It was the end of practice and all the boys went out and got something to eat but I had to get home and study for a test.

I was sitting at my desk when I heard my phone go off. I turned my phone over and saw it was the one and only Nick requesting a FaceTime.

"Hello," I say with a smile, "Hey so we haven't seen each other for a bit and I was wondering if we could meet up," He said.

"I would love to but I have to study," I say with a slight frown.

"Well, how about I come to you" He says with a smirk on his face.

I look at my screen with a shocked face and find myself agreeing and telling him to text me when he's outside.

~TIME SKIP~

I was so nervous that I changed 5 times and cleaned up my whole room.

I got a text and it was Nick saying that he was here. I tell him to come to the back and climb the tree to my room.

A knock comes from my window and I go to answer it. I open the window and he comes into my room.

I couldn't help but hug him while saying hey and he did the same.
