AUTHOR'S POV-

The morning light filtered softly through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the room. YN and RM lay in bed, their fingers intertwined, still basking in the warmth of the night before, their intimate act. But something tugged at YN’s mind, a lingering feeling that their connection went deeper than this life.

“RM,” YN murmured, turning to face him. Her heart fluttered at the sight of his peaceful expression, his hair tousled from sleep. “Do you ever feel like… like we’ve known each other before? Like this isn’t the first time we’ve been together?”

RM’s eyes opened slowly, his gaze meeting hers with an intensity that made her heart skip a beat. “I’ve thought about that,” he admitted, his voice soft. “From the moment we met, it felt like something just clicked. Like our souls recognize each other.

”YN bit her lip, the dreams she’d been having resurfacing in her mind. “I’ve been having these dreams… they feel so real. In them, I’m a doctor, and you’re a soldier. We’re in love, but something always pulls us apart.”

RM’s expression grew serious as he listened. “I’ve had dreams like that too,” he said quietly. “In my dreams, I’m Captain Kim, and you… you’re someone I’ve lost. It’s always during a war, and I’m left with this deep, aching loss.”

A shiver ran down YN’s spine as she realised their dreams might not just be random. “What if these aren’t just dreams, RM? What if… what if we’re remembering a past life?”

RM looked at her, his eyes dark with intensity. “I’ve thought about that too. It sounds crazy, but it’s the only thing that makes sense. Maybe we’ve been given a second chance to be together.”

YN’s heart pounded at the thought. “But what happened in our past life? Why were we torn apart?”

RM hesitated before speaking. “In my dreams, you’re a time traveler. You’re from a different time, but you’re stuck in the 1890s, during a war. You’re a doctor, helping the wounded, and I’m a captain. We fall in love, but you’re forced to return to your original time. That’s when… that’s when you died.”

YN’s breath caught in her throat. “And you? What happened to you?”

RM’s voice was thick with emotion. “I survived the war, but I lost you. I lived to be 95, but I never stopped loving you, YN. Not even for a moment.”

Tears welled up in her eyes as she listened to RM’s words. “If that’s true, then we were meant to find each other again in this life. We were given another chance to be together.”

RM reached out, brushing a tear from her cheek. “And this time, nothing will keep us apart. I promise you that.”

As they held each other close, YN felt a deep sense of peace. They had been torn apart by fate once before, but now they had a chance to rewrite their story. This time, they would fight for their love, no matter what obstacles lay ahead.

And as RM pressed a tender kiss to her lips, YN knew that they were destined to be together across time, across lifetimes, their love would always find a way.
