Sunstreaker Comes To Town

Route SR 24, Maine - 7:00am - Sunday 20th March

A streak of yellow and black speeds down the road, easily dodging the few car cars that are actually on the road now. As it slows down, it can be seen as a Lamborghini Diablo, the paint of car mostly being yellow with fade streaks of black on the doors. The radio in the car is blasting some earlier 2000s pop music; with the car seeming to bounce along with the beat of it. The car seats are a bright red leather with the Autobot printed on top of each seat. But there appears to be no one sitting inside.

That's because that very car is Sunstreaker, infamous speedster who loved Earth's culture and once the twin to Sideswipe. That before he left the main group of Autobots, he would have stayed if it weren't for G.H.O.S.T and Megatron, most Autobots didn't trust the organization at all. Even before the whole 'Mandroid' Incident. And as for Megatron, well that was whole other can of worms.

Trusting the same bot who twisted the Decepticons and other beings around to be more crueler; as well as abusing them for his own goals. Yeah that would take a very long time to get over. On the other hand, Sunstreaker didn't really mind Decepticons, he could see why they would do all that stuff too. Even some Autobots he knew (Bumblebee and Prowl) he could see them doing such things. Whether out of naivety or punishment.

It been years since the yellow grounder actually went on a mission; last mission he did was the Spacebridge Battle. Until last night, he detected two large energon signatures; that quickly faded after a few seconds. More than likely an explosion caused by energon reacting to either a blaster or fire. Combine it with the whole East Coast of America having a blackout and a mysterious organisation taking over the old G.H.O.S.T base; which was last night as well. It'll be worth to see if it's related by checking it out.

"Sunstreaker, are you there?" A familiar voice comes through his comm system. While Sunstreaker hadn't been talking to as many of his former colleagues; there was one he talks with often.

"Loud and clear, Perceptor. What's the call for?" He asks with fake innocence. Perceptor will already know why he heading out. Perceptor always keeps a close optic of any strange goings on. Not to mention the microscope still had access to the trackers on every Autobot badge.

"You're heading towards Falcon Stone. As in where the two large energon signatures were located," the scientist replies plain and simple enough. Sunstreaker laughs at his bluntness "Ding! Ding! Ding! You're Correct! Hahaha! Wanna tell me what to expect?"

"Very much actually. I've already alerted the task force about your arrival. The energon signatures were detected in the forest near Falcon Rock, so I recommend you don't trying speeding around the forest. Unless you want a similar issue like last time," the yellow Lamborghini rolls his optics.

"How was I supposed to know Optimus hated pine?" He retorts. He increases his speed along the highway; no car appears in sight. Sunstreaker asks the scientist "Will I be expecting Fowler to be there? Especially since his daughters live there."

"Agent Fowler was ordered to stay in Witwickey. Apparently they be sending Agent Schloder," Perceptor replies. The yellow grounder raises a brow "Wouldn't it be better to send the guy who knows his way around the place?"

"I believe General Bryce and Faireborn were thinking more along the lines of what skills they do or do not have," the microscope says. On one hand, Sunstreaker didn't have listen to so many American references. But on the other hand, Schloder focuses way too much on simple trains of thought; it literally lead to the 'Pumpkin Patch Fair Incident '.
