As Ria and Taehyung arrived at the engagement venue, they were greeted by the soft glow of twinkling lights and the elegant décor that transformed the space into a breathtaking scene. The entrance was adorned with cascading flowers and delicate drapes, leading into a grand hall filled with golden chandeliers and beautifully set tables. The atmosphere was magical, with the anticipation of the celebration hanging in the air.
Ria took a deep breath, trying to steady her nerves as she and Taehyung stepped inside. They exchanged a quick glance, sharing a brief, reassuring smile before parting ways to their respective rooms to get ready.
Ria was guided to the bridal suite, an exquisite room decorated with soft pastel tones and elegant mirrors that reflected the soft light around her. The air was filled with the gentle scent of fresh flowers, and everything about the space was designed to make her feel like a princess. Despite the beauty around her, Ria’s heart was heavy with the weight of her thoughts.
Meanwhile, Taehyung entered the groom's room, a sophisticated space with dark wood paneling and plush seating. He was just beginning to settle in when Yoongi walked in, dressed sharply and exuding his usual calm confidence. Taehyung’s face lit up at the sight of his hyung.
“Yoongi-hyung!” Taehyung greeted him with a broad smile.
Yoongi approached him, his gaze appraising Taehyung’s attire before giving a nod of approval. “Looking good, Tae.”
Taehyung grinned, straightening his jacket. “Thanks, hyung. And thanks for coming so early. It means a lot.”
Yoongi smirked, his eyes twinkling with mischief. “Don’t flatter yourself, Taehyung. I’m here for Ria, not you.”
Taehyung feigned a look of hurt, placing a hand over his heart. “Ouch, hyung. You wound me.”
Yoongi chuckled, giving Taehyung a light pat on the back. “Relax, I’m just teasing. You know I’m here for both of you.”
Before Taehyung could respond, the door opened again, and Hobi walked in with his usual infectious energy. “What’s up, gentlemen?” he greeted them with a wide smile, his excitement evident.
Yoongi waved goodbye to Taehyung, giving him a playful nudge. “I’ll leave you to Hobi’s high energy. I’m going to check on the bride.”
Taehyung rolled his eyes but couldn’t help but laugh. “Go on, hyung. Just don’t make her laugh too hard, or she’ll mess up her makeup.”
Yoongi gave a mock salute and exited the room, making his way to the bridal suite where Ria was getting ready.
When Yoongi arrived, he found Ria sitting quietly, her eyes fixed on her reflection in the mirror. She was stunning, dressed in a beautiful engagement outfit that highlighted her natural grace. But as Yoongi approached her, he noticed the tension in her posture and the sadness in her eyes.
“Hey,” he said softly, stepping into the room and closing the door behind him.
Ria looked up, and the moment she saw Yoongi, a wave of relief washed over her. “Yoongi,” she whispered, standing up and walking over to him.
He opened his arms, and she stepped into his embrace, holding onto him tightly. For a moment, they stood there in silence, the comfort of his presence easing the storm of emotions inside her.
Yoongi pulled back slightly, studying her face. “You look beautiful, Ria,” he said gently, though his eyes were searching hers for the truth behind her composed exterior.
Ria gave him a small smile, but it didn’t reach her eyes. “Thank you, Yoongi.”
He tilted his head, his expression softening. “You don’t seem happy, though. What’s going on?”
