"You. You did this." Eddie's mother, Sonia, also known by Mrs Kaspbrak or Mrs K, said pointing her finger at all the other kids. She walked Eddie to her car.
"You know how delicate he is." His mother spoke. Lydia rolled her eyes but luckily Mrs Kaspbrak did see.
"We were attacked. M-Mrs K." Bill stuttered. Mrs K shoved Eddie in her car.
"No! Don't. Don't you try blame anyone else." She said slamming the car door. Eddie tried not to cry as he look straight ahead of him.
Mrs K fiddled with her keys and ended up dropping them. Beverly went to go pick them up for her.
"Let me help-" Beverly said.
"Get back!" Eddie's mother shouted.
"Oh I've heard of you, Miss Marsh and I don't want a dirty girl like you touching my son." Sonia said looking down at Beverly. Beverly looked at her.
"Hey! She was just trying to help. No need to be rude about it!" Lydia said. She wasn't going to stand around and be a pathetic, quiet girl. She was trying to stand up for herself and for her friends. Eddie mother glanced up at Lydia.
"Oh, Miss Hocksetter. I'm not surprised you speaking up, you're just like your brother. A mean, weird, troubled, brat. Following into your brothers footsteps? You know you'll end up like him if you do. You'll probably go missing just like him, I wouldn't be surprised, your whole family is trouble. " Sonia said
Lydia looked at her. She was shocked at her response. She frowned and looked away. Maybe she would end up like her brother and maybe she'll be just like her brother.
Mrs K looked in her purse.
"Mrs's K I-..." Bill stuttered.
"No! You are all Monsters. All of you." She said pointing her finger at everyone.
"And Eddie is done with you. Do you hear? Done!" Mrs K shouted before walking to the other side of her car to drive Eddie to the hospital. Lydia saw Eddie crying in the passenger seat. She frowned and felt bad. Lydia walked beside Stanley out to the road watching Eddie's mum drive him away.
"I saw the well..." Bill spoke up.
"W-We know where it is and next time we'll be better prepared." Bill stuttered.
"No! No next time Bill! You're insane!" Stanley shouted.
"Why? We all know no one else is going to do anything." Beverly spoke up.
"Eddie was nearly killed! And look at this motherfucker! He's a leaking hamburger helper!" Richie said pointing at Ben and at the cut on Ben's stomach.
"We can't pretend it's gonna go away." Beverly said.
"Ben you said it yourself, it come back every 27 years." Beverly said looking at Ben.
"Fine! I'll be 40 far away from here." Ben says.
"I thought you said you wanted to get out of this town, too." Ben says looking at Beverly.
"Because I want to run towards something. Not away." Beverly says.
"I'm sorry, who invited Molly Ringwald into the group?" Richie says point at Beverly. Beverly flips him off.
"Richie-" Stanley and Lydia say in sync.
"I'm just saying let's face facts. Real world. Georgie is dead. Stop trying to get us killed, too." Richie says walking towards Bill.
"G-Georgie's not dead!" Bill stuttered.
"You couldn't save him, but you can at least still save yourself." Richie says. Richie goes to walk past Bill, but Bill stops him.
"N-No, take it back!" Bill stutters.
"You're scared and we all are, but take it back!" Bill says as he pushes Richie. Richie pushes Bill back. Bill punches Richie. Mike, Lydia and Stanley hold Richie from fighting Bill.
"You're just a bunch of losers!" Richie shouts.
"Fuck off!" Richie shouts.
"Richie, stop." Stanley says.
"Bill, Richie! Knock it off." Lydia says.
Ben holds Bill back from fighting with Richie.
"You're just a bunch of losers and you'll get yourselves killed trying to catch a ducking stupid clown." Richie shouts.
"Stop!" Beverly shouts.
Mike, Stanley and Lydia let go of Richie. Richie pushed Stanley. Lydia nudged Richie and glared at him before looking back at Beverly.
"This is what it wants. It wants to divide us. We were all together when we hurt it. That's why we're still alive." Beverly says.
"Yeah? Well, I plan to keep it that way." Richie says as he push pasts Bill and goes to his bike. Stanley walks to his bike. Lydia looked up at Beverly and Bill she looked away from them and walked in to her bike. Ben walked to his Bike. Mike the started to walk over to his Bike.
"Mike..." Beverly says.
"Guys... I can't do this. My granddad was right. I'm an outside. I gotta stay that way." Mike says before walking on Eddie's lawn to get his bike. Beverly and Bill were the only ones who wanted to go back to the house.
