Jake has been waiting for Carrington to come back home from the party all night. Jake couldn't even find him when he was there until about 2am. So he just assumed that his boyfriend would come back later.

But later never came.

Carrington was at Chase's house, and has been all night.

It's the morning, and Jake has been waiting on the couch. The clock chimes 8am.

Carrington stumbled in, clearly drunk. His cheeks were red, and his eyes were slightly droopy. He kicked his shoes off, not bothering to look for Jake. He was too drunk to care.

Jake gets up. "Where were you?!" He scolded as he went over to Carrington. He smelled the scent of alcohol, sex and shame coming from Carrington.

Carrington groaned, rubbing his temples. "I was at Chase's," he mumbled, his words slurring slightly. He leaned against the wall, trying to steady himself.

"All night...?" Jake trailed as he shakes his head. "Babe, c'mon you're still drunk." He walked over and grabbed Carrington's hand.

Carrington nodded, his head lolling slightly. "Yeah, all night," he repeated, letting Jake take his hand. "Chase had a party, and I got carried away."

"What do you mean, 'Carried away ' "? Jake asked as he is helping his boyfriend up the stairs, arm around his waist as the two walk into the hallway.

Carrington shrugged, his words becoming more incoherent. "I had a few drinks, then I danced with a few people. Then I don't remember much after that." He leaned heavily against Jake, struggling to walk straight.

"Hm.. well, let's get into bed, hon." Jake replied as he walked Carrington to the punk's bedroom. He laid Carrington down in the bed, but froze. "Babe."

Carrington groaned as he hit the bed, sprawling out like a starfish. "What?" he asked, his eyes closed.

"What's on your... neck?" Jake asked, staring directly at the fresh imprinted hickeys on Carrington's flesh. Hickeys literally covering the left side of Carrington's neck.

Carrington's eyes shot open, his face flushing with embarrassment. "Uh..." he stammered, trying to come up with an excuse. "It's nothing, really."

"Bullshit!" Jake raised his voice. "You-.. you slept with Chase, didn't you?!" He felt his world starting to crumble.

Carrington flinched at the sound of Jake's raised voice, guilt washing over him. "I... I'm sorry," he mumbled, his eyes filling with tears. "I didn't mean for it to happen. It was a mistake."

Jake scoffed, "I don't want to hear that right now. You're drunk and you need to sleep this off and then, THEN We'll talk." He grabbed a extra pillow and blanket from his closet. "I'll be asleep on the couch, because.. SOMEONE had to stay up all night waiting on your ASS!" he left the room, slamming the door.

Carrington flinched again at the sound of the door slamming. He buried his face in his hands, tears streaming down his face. "I'm sorry, Jake," he whispered to himself, knowing that his boyfriend wasn't going to forgive him easily.

Jake walked himself downstairs. Tears in his eyes. He tossed the blanket and pillow on the couch and then crawled into it. Crying himself to sleep.

Carrington laid in bed, feeling guilty and miserable. He could hear Jake crying from downstairs, and it broke his heart. He knew he had messed up, and he didn't know how to fix it. He just lay there, staring up at the ceiling, tears streaming down his face.

Around 11am or so, Jake woke up again. But something inside of him.. switched. He felt like he couldn't speak at all.

He watched as Johnnie came down the stairs, saying he was leaving for a few days with some sort of business with his music.
