I don't want this moment to ever end
Where everything's nothing without you
I'd wait here forever just to,
To see you smile
'Cause it's true, I am nothing without you...
Raindrops patter against the earth, while a woman holds a beautiful porcelain cup of freshly brewed coffee, gazing nostalgically out the window. As memories flood her mind, her tears mingle with the coffee lending it a hint of saltiness.
On her table sits a small cinnamon candle, while the radio softly plays a song she's avoided for nearly ten years. She still recalls the first time they listened to it together.Through it all, I've made my mistakes
I stumble and fall, but I mean these words..."Do you believe in soulmates?" she asked innocently, lying next to him on the bed as she counted the numerous vinyl records adorning his wall.
"No, I don't... Why?" he answered, playing with her fingers, finding them oddly captivating, soft, and pleasant to hold.
"I believe in you as the love of my life... My person... you know?" With her head nestled closer to his shoulder, she began to stroke his hand gently with her fingers. He smiled at her, his smile warm and genuine.
"I love you," he said, turning to gaze deeply into her eyes. "I want to marry you... I want to start a family with you, spend the rest of my days with you by my side... So, if that means we're destined or soulmates... Then I believe in that, because it's you, and I'm meant to be yours."
I want you to know
With everything, I won't let this go
These words are my heart and soul (I'll hold on)
I'll hold on to this moment, you know
As I bleed my heart out to show
And I won't let goThe sound of thunder jolted her awake, looking at the window, the rain kept falling and the empty cup was on the floor. She fell asleep, remembering the old times... Tears falling from her eyes, but she didn't want to clean it, she was really tired of always pretending like nothing happened and she was alright...
She lets herself cry, the river that she wants... and after a while, with that pain in her heart, she manages herself to change her pajamas and go outside.Thoughts read unspoken, forever in vow
And pieces of memories fall to the ground
I know what I didn't have, so I won't let this go
'Cause it's true, I am nothing without youWalking through the wet path, with her earphones at maximum volume, she repeats the same song over and over... Watching the buildings, walking through the memories of the happiest and most honest moment in her life when she was genuinely herself.
Minutes became hours of walking and thinking. She was going to leave soon, start a new life in a new place, with new people, and even if she was happy, she knew something was missing.. that part of her life, that part of herself was buried 3 meters underground, but she wasn't sure if she wanted to keep it that way.All the streets where I walked alone
With nowhere to go, have come to an endWithout notice she was in the park. She sits on a bench, even if this one was wet for the rain, and changes the song to another more likely to the feeling on her chest. Seconds change to minutes, and without notice, her teardrops were mixing with the rain on the floor.
She saw those empty streets, she saw all of her memories vanished from her mind, crying so hard as she remembered every little bad and good thing that happened, and how wrong the idea of going to another place feels for her.
