They sat in the basement their backs braced against the wall as they gasped for breathe, “What do you think they wanted?” Ana asked suddenly breaking the silence.
“I have no Idea, but I hope we don’t have to experience it again.” Naly said as she stood and helped her sister up. They were back in the clothes they were in before they entered the mirror which was kind of strange.
They made their way up the ladder and into their bedroom, quietly Ana shut the door while Naly checked her phone. “Oh my it’s already passed noon, I can’t believe it, and I haven’t even checked to see if you were alright,” Naly fluttered as she studied her sister’s face.
“When I woke up in the cave I took a drink of the waterfall and I literally picked up, like I felt way better than ever, I guess good clean spring water can do that to you,” Ana said as she quickly made her bed, feeling embarrassed that she had left it all morning.
“Well what do we do now?” Naly asked, Ana’s eyes lit up and she asked.
“Are you up for a swim?” Naly’s twinkled and she smiled in return.
“We have to make sure that its full yet,” she commented, but walked behind Ana as they made their way outside. The day before. They had instructed the men to dig a pond in the middle of a stream that they had just noticed on Friday at the end of clearing near the woods. The pond was layered and filled naturally, so that they would not disturb wildlife, it had an outlet so that it would not over flow and so that it could make on its way again.
As they reached the water they were excited to see that It was deep enough to swim in or maybe just doggy paddle or float not quite swim. “Let’s go get our swim clothes,” Ana giggled as she ran back to the cabin, Naly on her heels.
When they had called and talked to Miriam if the pond would add to the expenses of what she was paying, which it didn’t add too much as long as she could join them sometimes, she had said that for a natural pond they would have to use certain type of swim clothes and, would have to put the well they had found around the back of the house to use and use clean fresh water to wash the swim clothes, and no soap.
They quickly changed, grabbed towels and made their way out to their personal swimming pool, with no prying eyes. They each laid out their towel on the freshly cut grass and walked toward the water, dipping her toes in the water, Ana gasped and giggled, “That is no cold.” Naly was bolder and stepped in up to her knees.
“First one clear wet wins,” Naly said as she suddenly sat down in the freezing water gasping a little. Ana sarcastically replied.
“Ha funny like I would be reckless,” She slowly by small amounts sat down gasping at each new inch of cold water that covered her body.
“You baby,” Naly said as floated flicking water at her sister. Ana looked at her with rage.
“Oh it’s on,” she cupped her hand and threw water at her already wet twin and said, “Water Fight!”
They began playing like children and felt good about themselves, washing away the memories of their parents deaths, and the weird mirror in their basement.

A week had passed and the garden was planted, each day after they were done working in the garden or cleaning the house they took a swim, it became their daily thing and it never grew old. One day as they were swimming Ana felt someone’s eyes on her, she looked around but couldn’t see anyone.
“Naly do you see anyone here?” Ana asked as she scanned the yard, “Was Miriam supposed to be coming today?”
“No she was going to come tomorrow for a swim, Why?” Naly said looking around worried.
