"HEY DARLA!" NICK yelled through the phone. this was her first real interaction with them which kinda sucks it was over the phone— but whatever!
"nick? hey girl!" darla says with a smile on her face. after a few seconds chris's face pops up on the screen. he fixes his hair and props it up on him desk. chris had blue headphones on and a controller in his hand— looked like he was gaming or something.
darla sets her camera up like chris does but at her vanity. "matt, hey!" darla says while waving through the phone. matt had his camera awkwardly positioned to show half his face, but darla didn't really care.
"sup darla," he says while shifting in his spot on the bed. chris looks over and takes his headphone off one ear. "dars," chris mumbles while his gaze shifts to the phone screen.
"chris," darla replies with a grin on her face. chris gives her a smile back before shifting his attention back to the pc in-front of him.
they sit there in silence for about 2 minutes before nick decides to speak up. "so, how's life been?" he asks which makes darla just shrug. "life's been good i mean, nothing to really complain about." she says.
chris interrupts the conversation with a loud scream, you could hear it through all the cameras. "chris can you shut the fuck up!" matt says while banging on the wall.
"sorry! he just shot me from the back!" chris says. "kid got back shotted," darla lets out a laugh, nick's hand flying over his mouth.
"alright, alright shut the fuck up nick," chris rolls his eyes while taking the headset off. "i think i might go, me and sab got stuff planned for later," darla says while applying light lipgloss to her lips.
"sab? who's that?," matt asks while sitting up in his bed. "she was the one with that gray florida hoodie on!" "ohhh, that's sab," matt says while looking around the room awkwardly.
"yeah, well i should probably go now.." darla mumbles while grabbing her phone off the vanity mirror. "i'll text 'yall later! bye," they all wave bye through the screen as darla hits the red hang-up button.
she scrolls out of the facetime app and jumps onto her bed, laying down on her stomach. "darla?" sab says from outside her bedroom door. she opens the door and closes it behind her, walking over to darla.
"hey girl," darla says while turning onto her back and sitting up. "wanna watch the notebook again?" sab asks while sitting down next to darla and wrapping her arm around the girls shoulder.
"uhm? of course i do!" darla says while grabbing her remote and opening amazon prime.
