It's 7am on a monday. Officially four weeks before summer break starts.

I quickly run down the stairs and leave my house to go to school, Aoi was waiting for me at our spot per usual.

"Took you long enough! I was starting to think you slept in and id have to spend the day alone in that shit hole." Aoi joked as we hugged.

"My bad, i spent the first 10 minutes of my morning just staring at the wall." I giggled and broke the hug.

We start walking towards the school talking about random shit. I always liked that about Aoi, you can talk to her about absolutely anything and she'll always engage in the conversation.

As soon as we reached school, many kids and teenagers were running around and talking to each other.

"Im gonna go find Kanao, I'll catch you later in class." Aoi told me, she dabbed me up and quickly left to go find her half sister. I bid her goodbye before continuing to walk towards my class.

I never particularly liked my class, its not that theyre bad people or anything but ive never been close to them, except for Aoi.

Upon entering the classroom, i saw very few people in there. Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke, the famous trio. I know Tanjiro likes to get to class early but i never expected Zenitsu or especially Inosuke to show up this early.

I sit at my usual spot, Aoi usually sits next to me but as for now, i was alone. I sat behind Tanjiro and his friends, watching Zenitsu and Inosuke argue about something random while Tanjiro is trying to calm them down.

"Uhm, hello? Y/n?" I heard a voice calling my name. I was quickly pulled back into reality once i realized Tanjiro was the one that called me.

"Yeah?" I looked him in the eyes in confusion. I mean, he barely ever spoke to me so why would he speak to me now?

Tanjiro's eyes showed concern. "Are you okay?" he furrowed his brows in worry as he looked at me. I quickly nodded, "Oh yeah, sorry, i zoned out. Whats up?"

"Its okay. Anyways, I just wanted to ask if you did the homework." The second those words left his mouth, my eyes widen. "Fuck! We had homework?" I groaned as i realized i didnt do the work we were supposed to do at home.

Tanjiro chuckled and reached into his bag, he pulled two pieces of paper and handed them to me. "Here, copy mine. Sorry if the handwriting is a bit messy." He gave me a smile.

"No way, seriously? Thanks, oh my god, youre a lifesaver!" I smile back at him and quickly take out a pen and start copying his homework.

While writing, I noticed his handwriting is unsurprisingly really nice and neat. Which isn't unusual for him, but im a bit surprised since he told me his handwriting is messy.

Aoi and Kanao entered the class together, they bid each other goodbye and went to sit down. Aoi sat next to me, obviously, while Kanao sat in front of Tanjiro.

"What are you doing?" Aoi leaned in closer next to me to see what im writing. "I didnt do the homework so im copying Tanjiro's." I quickly say before focusing back on writing.
