Suguru stared at the knife for way too long before finally deciding to use it. He reached out his hand and grabbed it slowly, his fingers wrapping around it like it was even painfull to move them. His energy was totally drained, his eyes puffier than yesterday and his mind as blank as ever. Eventually, he made the first cut, and the cutted out piece of apple fell over on the cutting board. Suguru moved his empty gaze at it and suddenly, the thought of eating made him sick. He didn't know why he even thought it was a good idea to try it in the first place. Dropping the knife and abandoning the apple, he lazily moved back to the couch. The feeling of puke building up wasn't going away and Suguru cursed himself in his mind for his stupidity. His head fell limp on the backrest and his eyes happened to look at the window through which he saw the ugly snowstorm outside. He could hear the scream of the wind and the slight shaking of the glass on his old window. This whole picture wasn't making the situation any better, actually worsened it. The dark haired's eyes began to water again, but he tried his best to hold it in and his breath hitched. His head was already throbbing in pain, he didn't want to cry anymore, it was starting to become pathetic. No matter how much he cried or how many apples he skipped to eat, Satoru wasn't coming back and he knew it, but at the same time, he didn't. He desperately hoped that all of this was a twisted nightmate and his other half was nowhere but right next to him on the same old couch. Suguru placed his hand on his mouth after realising he won't get away with the puking and right after he stood up to get to the bathroom, his doorbell rang.
- What the— ?
He managed to get his body under control and after reasuring that he won't throw up in the person's shoes, he opened the door.
- Yo, what's with you, looking ran over by a truck?
Suguru froze. He knew that maybe at some point in his life he would develop an illness, but he didn't expect it would be schizophrenia.
- Suguru, are you okay?
Satoru's voice echoed in his ears like an ancient rapsody, like he was already dead and that's what awaited him in heaven.
- Satoru...
When Geto's body finally moved, the first thing it did was wrapping it's hands gently around the other boy, still not sure if he was just a painfully realistic hallucination.
- You are shivering, love. - Suguru spit out, his throat still halfway paralyzed.
- Well, yeah, it's cold outside, people normally do that when it's cold.
Thanks to Gojo's shivers, he finally collected his chaotic mind and pulled the boy in, closing the door and locking it behind them.
Satoru didn't look fantastic as well. He had huge bags under his eyes and he was pale, ghostly pale. Maybe Suguru was ran over by a truck, but he definitely wasn't alone when it happened and maybe he imagined it, but Satoru's face had gotten boney and his normally unreal blue eyes were now grayish, lifeless.- Your clothes are soaked, let me grab new ones.
Suguru was contemplating turning around and losing him out of sight in case he was an actual hallucination, but he subconsciously got to the next room and grabbed him a clean pair of clothes. When he got back, Gojo was still here.
- Thanks. - Satoru said and took them.
Suguru watched him as he was undressing. Gojo was revealing one by one differend wrecks on his body. It was a bruise after a bruise, a wound after a wound and so on. Suguru formed his face into a pained expression. He knew the path his other half chose wasn't filled with roses and daisies, but it surely hurt to see him in that state.
- Satoru, you're injured.
Gojo looked at himself as like this information was brand new for him, but he didn't seem bothered and continued slipping his pants down.
