Alternatives:
1) In this universe Titans and Humans aren't one of the same so the nine Titan Powers aren't controlled by Humans. However, they will pop up as special Abnormal Titans. Yes, even the Colossal Titans will be a brainless pure Titan (Foreshadowing).
2) With all of humanity outside the Walls destroyed, that means there is no Eren, Grisha and Zeke in this universe. There is also no Annie, Reiner, Bertholdt and all the other warriors and their families.
3) Shinganshina and Wall Maria also doesn't fall due to the Warriors and the Reiss family is still all alive. They also don't have to be in hiding as they have no great secrets to protect.
4) Because Eren doesn't exist in this universe, that also means that Mikasa is sold into slavery and is the last living descendent of those from Asia. However, she will pop up again later so don't you worry.
5) I understand that some of you may be confused on how the story will work without a lot of the main cast. Firstly, a lot of the side characters that died won't, mainly Levi Squad, Marco, and the Scouts that died on the exhibition because of Annie. Secondly, the story will follow Armin, Levi, and Commander Erwin as the main characters. Finally, Jean and Marco are MPs but I think it's realistic for Armin, Historia, Connie, and Sasha to join the scouts. Also, some of the other cadets that died in the Battle of Trost, Thomas and Mina, would also likely join the Scouts.
6) Final bit of Background context, the Walls aren't Titans but we're actually man made and are made out of stone. I know this is impossible in real life with the technology they had but who really cares. I still want to keep this grounded to the AoT world. Also, I will give hints and clues to how Titans came to be and how they are made.
