My first one shot, I really wanted to write this after the end of the series, it took me a few days but finally I think it's ready to go out into the world, clearly I'm not an expert writer and English is not my native language, it's really the first time I've embarked on something like this so if there are mistakes I'm sorry, I hope you like it and tell me what you think of these two chaotic characters that I love so much and I'm going to miss for two years, I also have a video that inspired me to do this story in case you want to see it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ImTG3jogMUo, Now enjoy the story

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

More than 6 years without sleeping alone except for small trips they each had taken, where they stayed in those places for a day, and even then, they missed each other like crazy. But tonight was different. Each was in their own room in Dragonstone, unable to close their eyes after their intense fight. Neither could rest; they had yelled at each other and said horrible things. Although each believed they were right in many things, it wasn't the way to express it.

Daemon left the room angry but decided not to go to Harrenhal so late. He would leave at dawn. He didn't want to leave for weeks without at least talking a bit. He would give it a few more hours and then try to talk again. He knew Rhaenyra was right to be upset about the child's death, but he had been clear in his instructions: "I want Aemond's head."

Apparently, these days, you have to do everything yourself if you want it done right because hired killers no longer worked. But he never thought they would deviate from his instructions and kill a child. He didn't even know Aegon had children, much less that he had two. And now his wife was so upset about it that she wasn't thinking clearly. He had been faithful to her his whole life. In every trip, every moment away and within King's Landing, he thought of her. His ten years away were hell, and imagining her with someone else was the worst thing that happened to him. He tried to keep his thoughts in check by drinking through the nights to forget the life he had away from her. And now she was pushing him away, saying she didn't trust him, thinking he only loved her for the crown—a crown he could have taken whenever he wanted, even before she was born, from Viserys. But he never did, not even when he thought he was unfit for that position.

His thoughts only made him toss and turn in his bed, which was far too big for him. He hated this room; he had never liked it. It was cold and felt empty, far from the wing where he had always slept. When he arrived at Dragonstone 20 years ago, he only had soldiers, and he did it to anger Viserys. He didn't feel entirely comfortable, which is why he decided to go to the Stepstones.

But when he returned with Rhaenyra a few years ago, everything changed. There was laughter everywhere, children running and babies laughing. There was life, and he enjoyed everything they did—practicing sword fighting with the boys, babies learning to walk, Valyrian lessons, flying dragons with Rhaenyra, collecting the clutches, dining together amid laughter and stories, telling old Valyria tales to sleep, and spending his nights with Rhaenyra, whether sleeping or not. It was perfect; he felt part of something for the first time, as if they were rebuilding their little Valyria together. And after Viserys's death, all that changed so quickly. Everything darkened.

He lost his first daughter with his beloved wife, lost his sweet boy, and now had a war with the Hightower bastards, ruining his peace, making his whole life fall into oblivion. But what he hated most was that she was angry with him, that she pushed him away from what he felt. She left for a week to search for Luke without asking for his help, and he wanted to be there for her, but dealing with his own pain was difficult. He always vented his anger, and all he wanted was to make her happy, to be there for her, but he couldn't express it. He couldn't leave it like this.
