Going to highschool was difficult.

Everyone around you saw you like a freak, just for knowing one or two things about nature.

Most days you'd eat alone. Yet, in your heart, you felt there must be someone out there who was caring, loving, and kind to people like you. Just that idea was enough to keep you going.

Nature and the internet were your safe space. You could learn all you wanted and rant all you wished about nature. Posting pictures, and then going to see the trees outside.

One of those days, you decided to watch TV instead of heading to the computer. You did realize it, but that would change your world forever.

Turning on one of the local channels, you saw them.

The news reporting of two young teens making nature documentaries and spreading them around the city, and soon around the world.

This is amazing!

You thought.

You watched the whole report and then the documentary. You were mesmerized by the sheer passion these guys had for nature and how comfortable they felt in the wild. So brave, so confident, pursuing their dreams.

Soon, you started to read all the news you could about them as they appeared, and all the internet posts talking about them.

Your days at school and even at home were difficult, but you always found solace in knowing there were a lot of altruistic people trying to save the world out there, no matter how much negativity surrounded them.

Before you noticed, years had passed, and as everyone else, you were loaded with the expectations of others, and even the internet itself had become a warzone for the slightest of topics.

Yet, there was one thing, or, one crew that kept moving forward: the Wild Kratts crew. You saw the news of how the most cutting edge technology and the Kratts who were now a team were not only famous but living off what they loved the most: connecting with nature.

Your heart started beating more rapidly.... You felt a calling.

If they could do it, so can I.

With what everyone else described as a whim, you packed your stuff, you took your car, you attached a metal cargo cart to your vehicle, and left your house forever.

Leaving all the people who had tormented you behind, and starting a Wild Life.

You felt in your heart that animals were already well taken care of by them. But you always loved plants. As such, you decided to dedicate your new life to saving endangered plant life. With several botanist books on the back of your car and the power of the internet, you knew you could do it.

And with that, you took off to an unknown world.

What was your plan? You'd figure it out as you go.

But you had a great start, as you had your savings, and also several fruit plants on your cargo cart that were producing enough to give you the chance to sell in small markets.

What gave you confidence was the fact that you always knew how to survive on a very low budget. It was one of your skills. You also had the strength to do whichever odd jobs you'd have to do in case of an emergency. So, it was more than enough for you to get going.

Chris and Martin were flying around on the Tortuga with their team saving animals, and you were in the ground facing the merciless nature as well with the mission to save plants. And although you never thought it would happen, time went by and you survived.

You learnt to trade. You also cleaned houses from time to time to get money and go back to the forests. You went from state to state and then country to country. Your heart felt as if you were the mouse following the bird as it flew, admiring it from afar. You knew the guys were out there too. But you didn't thought you'd ever meet them.

You didn't realize how fast time went, and now two years after starting, you not only knew a whole lot about plants, you also knew how to survive in the wild for days. As each day passed, you went less and less to the city. Until you began to only go once per month, and spend most of your time in the thick, high forests.

It was one of those days were your dream finally came true.
