Monday came with the annoying sound of my sister's alarm.

"Shut it off!" I yelled through the noise as I pulled my pillow over my head.

Oh, sweet silence. I slowly started drifting back to sleep as the blaring alarm was replaced by the annoying voice of my sister.

"We have school, get up, Chrissy!" She shook my shoulder and failed my arms, trying to make her go away. I groaned as I rose from my identical twin bed and began sluggish pulling on my uniform.

"Anything interesting happening at school?" I asked as she shrugged.

"Joining the paper. Some annoying guy keeps calling me Mary...."

"Mary?"

"Yeah, it's driving me crazy. Then I have this huge English exam that's worth so many points, and I feel so behind," she said.

"I have one better, I mentioned my art project to Kirk, and now he wants to help, I'm afraid he's gonna want me to make a plaster cast of his entire body....."

"Gross," she grimaced and made her way to the kitchen.

---------------------------------------------------------

I got to art class early and sat at my desk. The room was currently filled with easles. Jars of paint were set out, and I was excited to finally move on from sketches.

"Hey! Chrissy, right?" The boy said, his hair framing his face and his blue eyes meeting mine.

"That would be me! Daniel, right?" I immediately recognized him from the party, his smile contagious.

He nodded before taking his seat across the room and shooting me a small smile, my face turning red. Oh, he's cute.

"Alright, class today, we are starting with painting portraits. It can be of anyone, I found this useful for our project due this weekend. Remember, it can be any medium as long as it resembles a person," Miss Henry gave us the go-ahead to start painting after her lecture.

Turns out I am really bad at painting. Sketches I killed it, but paint? A mess waiting to happen. I spent the entire two hour class trying to create something resembling a person, but it did not farewell.

"Class is almost over. This is not a grade. I just want to see what you can do. Place your pieces on the rack to dry, and have a beautiful day."

I picked up my deformed face and placed the canvas on the rack.

"Not a painter?" His voice was right behind me this time.

I laughed, "I think I just made a mess."

He smiled and held up his canvas. Oh, he has some skill, and I'll give him that. What I was not expecting was a portrait of me?

"You painted me?"

"Do you like it?"

"It's amazing, I really have no idea what to say right now,"

We both laughed, and he placed the canvas on the rack below mine, and we walked out of the room to lunch. "Why did you paint me?" I asked, stopping.

"You're pretty," my face was once again a tomato.

---------------------------------------------------------

"Oh my god," I said as we were stopped at the stop sign.

"Was that a deer? We got hit by a deer, " Rory exclaimed, our tired states not helping the situation.

See, my sister was up studying all night like a dweeb, right. While I was somehow convinced to make a wax statue of Kirk's head....

An A is an A. However, it took forever because you know, Kirk. I had to plaster cast this dude, and he still managed to talk through the straw he was breathing out of. I don't understand.

So we overslept, I have an art project due, and Rory had an exam any minute.

"What are you doing?" I asked as she got out of the car.

"I have to find the deer,"

"L-A-T-E, let's go, I thought you were smart,"

"It could be hurt,"

I placed the creepy wax Kirk in the seat and trailed after my sister. We did not find the deer.

I sprinted to the art room, opening the door to an annoyed face from Miss Henry. By great graces, she didn't fail me but was equally disgusted and amazed by wax Kirk, I got the A.

A/N: a quick one, but I had fun writing this one! I know it's kind of random, but this episode is a good one, lol. Love you all!
