"Oh. My. God. I'm in Spain!" You exclaimed, more excited than ever. Motion sickness was killing you, but it was worth it as you were able to bring your trusty jeep with you, cargo cart and everything.
Once your papers were checked and you retrieved your car from the loading dock, you were now on your way to the rocky mountains and cliffs of the most deserted part of the canary island. The sun almost burned your eyes, the weather was scolding hot, and the dry unwavering breeze kept blowing your hair. You were sweating like crazy, yet your sports clothes were light enough for the situation and you had your adventuring backpack ready to go.
Little did you know two guys had similar plans to yours.
"Martin" said Chris "How much water did you pack?"
His brown eyes looking concerned at his brother.
"More than enough! Two gallons to be exact" Martin said, crossing his arms and smiling smugly.
"Right, do you have your climbing gear and creature power suit?" Chris said
"Yep! Right here" Martin replied
"Alright then, I think we're ready!" Said Chris, with an excited look.
The Tortuga was flying over the canary island you are in.
The brothers got close to the gate, which opened, making all the breeze from the sky enter the room. They had their backpacks with parachutes ready to go.
"I know you guys are excited and all, but make sure you get here before sundown. We'll park and send you the coordinates" Aviva said, still looking at the large screen in front of her.
"You got it!" Martin said, winking.
"Ok bro, at the count of one, two, three!" Chris said, laughing into the air.
"Wait for me bro!" Martin said, jumping immediately behind him.
The air was blowing strongly in their faces, their screams of joy echoed through the great wide landscape that the island provided.
"I still don't understand why the brothers chose this place... Is so absolutely desolated" Koki said
"Usually, in the toughest environments thrive the rarest animals, and that's what they're hoping to get" Aviva said
"Well, I just hope the time is worth it" Koki replied
"It will, they always find a way to get something crazy out of the adventures" Aviva said, giggling.
Meanwhile, you were now gasping for air at the front of a sky high, thin and round mountain that not even a goat could climb. Yet, you gasped and rejoiced at what you saw up there.
"Dragon tree!" You screamed with joy, almost at the verge of tears.
At the very top of the hill, there was a thick tree with equally thicker branches and bouquets of leaves at the top of each branch.
It looked so small from down where you were.
At a certain distance, Martin and Chris were landing at the top of a mountain and heard the scream of joy you gave.
Martin, widening his eyes, said: "Hey, bro, did you hear that?"
Chris, gently putting the parachute back in the backpack, said: "heard what?" Without looking at him.
"I think someone screamed from down there" Martin said, slight fear in his eyes.
"What?" Chris said, now looking at his brother with a smile and raised eyebrow. "There's no one here Martin, maybe it was a bird"
Martin didn't reply, but he still couldn't shake the feeling.
Pushing that aside, they both used the special hand grabbers Aviva made them to scale down those impossible mountains to go lower.
Meanwhile, you were pulling something out of your huge backpack: a drone. However, this drone was special. Modified by you to be able to use it on your back and fly to the top of the mountain.
It wasn't Aviva's technology, but you were extremely proud of it, as it did the job.
You put the drone on your back, and then you grabbed a pair of gloves with big sharp claws for each finger made of metal. This was just in case the drone failed and you needed to make an emergency grab.
You were deeply inspired by Aviva, and thus dedicated a lot of time to inventing your own technology to help yourself through the wild with the pieces you could afford.
Next, you put a modified gas mask on your mouth that was made to breathe better while flying in the air.
Finally, you turned on the drone and took off. Slowly but surely, you started going up and ever closer to the lonely, rare and endangered dragon tree.
And just as you were mid flight, you heard something:
"Wow, what's that!?"
You knew that voice, and yet, it was Impossible that you were actually hearing it.
Was it my imagination? Am I dehydrated?
You thought.
Your heart skeaped a beat.
But then, you heard something that confirmed both your fear and wish.
"Is that a new species!?" Chris Kratt exclaimed, very excitedly.
You looked at the source of the voice, just at the right of you, in another nearby sharp mountain.
You couldn't help but scream of being jumpscared, and your embarrassment took over: you started flying away.
"No, wait!" Martin screamed.
"Quick, let's fly to it before it escapes!" Chris said, pulling out his disk collection and falcon feather.
They both touched it and said their phrase
"Activate, Falcon Powers!"
You saw a blue and green glow from behind you and soon heard wings flapping closet and closer.
"Don't let it go!" Chris said
You heard that and understood: they were chasing you.
All of the human emotions available were flooding you at the same time. Your brain though, saved you by deciding to go down and touch ground.
You quickly moved down and when you touched the ground, turned back to see two giant falcons gently landing just behind you.
Their big human eyes staring at you.
"Uh... Bro? ..... I don't know what to think.... This doesn't look like an animal" Martin said.
"Yeah...." Chris said
They both looked at eachother with great worry then. Immediately, they deactivated.
"Um... Hello?" Chris said
You were paralized. You couldn't believe what you were seeing. And yet, there they were.
With trembling hands, you took off your gas mask and gloves and revealed your face.
You saw both of them open their eyes wide, as if they were seeing the sunset in Africa for the first time.
There was silence for a good minute.
Chris then shook his head to regain focus and said:
"Sorry if we scared you, we didn't mean to"
"Yeah, we just thought you were something else" Martin added
You were still absolutely flabbergasted. Staring at them and shaking. Your shyness taking over you.
"I-Im..." Chris said, but before he could finish, you woke up from your trance:
"Chris Kratt, and that's your brother Martin" you blurted
They both took a step back, shocked, and said in unison:
"Do you know us!?"
"Yes..." You replied, tears falling from your eyes, a smile on your face: "I do"
