The date was August 15th, 2024. Let's see what's happening in Negi Root City today at the Ogawa residence. Tsuru (Crane) and his wife Kagerou (Heat Haze) were making breakfast for their daughter Aki and their dog Yuka.
Heat Haze: Did you hear that school is starting today for the elementary, middle, and high schoolers?
Crane: Yeah, I did. High school was a long time ago.
Heat Haze: Yeah.
All of a sudden, their computer started beeping.
Crane: I'll get it.
He went over to the computer and answered the message. It was their friends and coworkers Shibuki Ichinose (Sengetsu ~Crescent Moon~ Miku) and Himiko Agatsuma (Sengetsu ~Crescent Moon~ Luka).
Sengetsu ~Crescent Moon~ Miku: Morning, boss! Where's Kagerou?
Tsuru: She's making breakfast for the family.
Sengetsu ~Crescent Moon~ Luka: Oh, okay.
Once breakfast was served, Kagerou went over to the computer.
Heat Haze: Hi, Shibuki. Hi, Himiko.
Sengetsu ~Crescent Moon~ Miku: Hi, Kagerou. There's a reason on why we're here. Can you figure it out?
Heat Haze: Uh...
She looked over at the calendar.
Heat Haze: Oh! It's your birthday!
Sengetsu ~Crescent Moon~ Miku: Yep, you got it! I'm turning 25 this year. I'm a quarter of a century old.
Sengetsu ~Crescent Moon~ Luka: And I'm turning 28.
Tsuru: Nice.
And so, these 4 modules kept talking for a few more minutes until it was time for them to go to work.
