~ Once Upon A Time Pt.3 ~

Syeon Jin came closer to Hui In and whispered,

Syeon Jin: Partners like the one to die for the other and the other takes revenge for the one. Do you get it?

Hui In: What do you mean? ( Confused )

Syeon Jin: I mean, if something bad happens to me or you, then other will take the revenge. It's the type of partners we are. Smirks*

Hui In: Never, we are not a partner at all...

" Now shut your mouth! I have to catch that man ", Syeon Jin whispers*

Hui In and Syeon Jin used their magic to become invisible so that unknown wouldn't know that they were trying to him. The mansion was huge with uncountable rooms and corners, it was hard for them to find him. That unknown man had a strange power, so the Immortal Man was confused to recognize it as he knew every creature around his area, except that man.

Scene changes to the unknown man-

He was wearing a black mask and covered his whole body, so no one could recognize him easily. He was trying to find something on a large shelf, he found two tiny dolls inside a box; one was a girl, and the other one was a boy.

" Finally, I have found their dolls, I'm done then! ", the man whispers*

He was using his magic to escape from there but couldn't, something stopped him from using his own powers. He became angry for it, he tried again and again but couldn't escape.

" What's wrong with my magic!! I hate this so much. " 

At that moment, Hui In grabbed his clothes from the back. She beat his face with her bare hands and made him bleed, the man had no way to fight back because Hui In held his hands tightly and he couldn't defend himself. She continued to beat him until she weakened him. Hui In immediately took off his mask to see his face. His face was looking too young, and she couldn't recognize this man at all.

Syeon Jin heard the noise when Hui In beat that man harshly and he came to the room where Hui In was. Syeon Jin looked at the man,

Syeon Jin: Do you know him? He looks twenty years old.

Hui In: No, I don't. Are you sure he is twenty?

Syeon Jin: Of course, I'm sure about this.

Syeon Jin: Hey little boy! Tell us, who sent you and why? ( Grabs his collar )

The man: Th-the doll... That man sent me...

Syeon Jin: Who is that man??!! 

The man: I didn't see his face. But I'm sure he belongs from the Eul family.

Hui In: What about those dolls then? It looks familiar too much.

The man: That guy ordered me, I had to listen to him because I want to save my family! He told me to get these dolls from here.

Syeon Jin: Why does that man need these dolls?

The man: He was saying something about cursing. He said that he wanted to curse two persons, that's why he needs these dolls. Please let me go! I have nothing to do with him. If I don't bring these dolls to him, then he will kill my family. ( Begging and crying )

Hui In: Syeon Jin, what should we do now? It's about many people's life.

Syeon Jin: In the past, the Eul family and I had a deadly war. I won the war and made a deal that we will never fight again in the future. But someone wants to curse us, I'm not going to let this go easily.

Hui In: Curse us? What does that mean?

Syeon Jin: Look, these two dolls were made for both of us, and it has our blood in the body. Anyone can curse us by these.

Hui In: Who made this then? And you are powerful then, how can the curse affect you?

Syeon Jin: These dolls were created by the guardian of the great magical forest. This cannot affect me, but all of my area will be destroyed if someone curses my doll. Because you are a human, then a powerful ghost will eat you alive and then you die.

Hui In's jaw dropped. She didn't expect this answer from him.

Hui In: Fine then. But I don't want anyone to die for us. Only you can do this. 

Syeon Jin: What do you want from me?

Hui In: Please save him and his family from the man, you can use me as a bet to the Eul family. I promise that I will find the man. This is a request to you as a partner.

Syeon Jin: ( Comes closer to her ) Very interesting. Alright, I accept your request.

Hui In smiled at Syeon Jin as he accepted her request. Syeon Jin was starting at her and smiled back. Hui In noticed it but ignored him. She then helped the man and started fixing his wounds on his face. Syeon Jin was looking at Hui In from a distance. Hui In had to touch the man's face to treat his wounds, but Syeon Jin was side eyeing at her. He was feeling something strange that he never felt.

" Ahh! Why I feel angry? She is just treating his wounds! " He was thinking while staring at Hui In. 

Syeon Jin: Hui In!! Are you done? ( Screams from a distance )

Hui In: No, I hurt him badly. It will take some time.

Syeon Jin: Why are you caring so much?

Hui In: Don't mind me please.

Syeon Jin was angry because of Hui In. His actions were telling that he was becoming jealous because she was touching the man's face, and she was way too close. Syeon Jin couldn't stand there and went to his own room.

" Why am I becoming jealous? This isn't me! I have never showed sympathy to someone. "

He was worried about his own actions as he was changing. He always did things what he wanted to, but this time he was listening to someone else. His behaviors were unfamiliar to himself.

A few times later, Hui In was looking for Syeon Jin. She was screaming by his name but there was no reply. She ran to Syeon Jin's room and pushed the door; it was already open. She saw that Syeon Jin was reading a book. The cover of the book was a picture of a wolf and a demon. 

Hui In: What's this book? The cover looks scary.

Syeon Jin: It looks like a book, but it's a diary.

Hui In: I see. But what are you reading?

Syeon Jin: It's about the war between me and the Eul family, a long story.

Hui In: What happened actually? I know nothing about it.

Syeon Jin: They wanted to possess the powers I had; they were too greedy. That's why the war started forty years ago.
